Cute humidifier
I’m surprised by the bad reviews. We got the owl one 10 years ago. It still works great, but we’ve decided to replace because it’s so old. Getting the frog next!

Cute dependable humidifier
We purchased this is Tempe Arizona due to our child having nosebleeds from the dry air. That was 7 years ago!!! We use it every winter and have traveled with it across country twice. It’s easy to clean! We do use the filter lid or the little fish to help with chemicals in water and only use filtered water.

Horrible quality, tank leaks
We had the monkey version of this humidifier for a while. One night, the entire tank leaked all over the place and the unit overheated, yet did not shut off. Seemed very dangerous. I gave the company the benefit of the doubt, thinking the kids had thrown the tank part at some point, causing it to leak, so I bought this frog one. After maybe 20 uses, this tank is now also leaking horribly between the opaque plastic and clear plastic, just like the other one did (the kids hadn't been in possession of this one.) I spent nearly $50 on this piece of junk! Now my sick children are in bed and have no humidifier! Not happy at all. My other complaints... with this unit and the monkey one, it periodically ran loudly. Also the light is very bright. I put several layers of tape over it, as it was usually in the kids' room at night.

Disappointed...burning plastic smell included
I just bought the frog humidifier today (about 8 hrs ago) and set it up in my kids room around 7pm. I came back to check in the water level 4hrs later and Although there was water left I started to smell a burnt smell. Called my husband to ask him to smell it and he smelled it too. It was coming from the base of the machine. Not even 4 hours later, after I turned it on for the first time, did I start to smell the infamous plastic burning smell reported in the reviews. I'll be exchanging it tomorrow for a Vicks cool mist humidifier.

Plastic failures
I was so excited when I added this item to my baby registry. My mother purchased this frog humidifier for my baby room. I only used it twice before the lid to the tank began to disintegrate; little chunks of the plastic lid just crumpled in my hands.

Product defect!
I have a defective device. There's water all over the floor when I turn the humidifier on. I will be returning the item back. Hopefully you get one that works!

Not Safe!
I purchased the humidifier for my daughters room, shes two. The second night we had it, at 4:30 in the morning the CO2 alarm in her room went off. This is the only thing we changed in her room recently so I don't see how it could be anything else. I'm not sure if we got a lemon or what happened, but I can't call this thing safe for a kids room or for anyone else for that mater. I'm just glad that I insisted she have a detector in her room since she sleep with the door shut.

Cute is as Far as it Gets
The Crane humidifiers are super cute, but not very functional. The handle for the water reservoir (under the face cap of the humidifier) cannot be used once the unit is full of water. It's entirely useless. I'm not even sure why it's there. It even states not to use the handle when the unit is full. The plastic is also VERY cheap and thin. If you drop it, it will break! I paid nearly $40 for each of mine (I have 3). It also doesn't do well humidifying. The price is going down for a reason folks. Don't waste your money!!

Its okay
My toddler loves that her humidifier is a frog. We had to return the first one because it did not turn on. The second one does work. Very simply to use, no extras to it. It does humidify the room.

Terrible- Leaks horribly bad
Really disappointed. I have barely used this humidifier and it keeps leaking. The first couple times it was fine and now there are cracks even though I was careful not to drop it or carry it by the handle. Even when I added silicone glue it still won't work right and continues to pour out everywhere. When it did work it was nice and quiet and I really loved it.

cute but not worth the money
Worked perfectly at first, then about 9 months in the motor or fan (whichever) started to make this loud sound. I researched the issue and had to clean the fan, which wasn't easily accessible. You may want to use distilled water, which is an inconvenience. Using tap water will leave a white substance that is cleanable with vinegar.

Two epic fails with this humidifier
I've gone through 2 of these and am so disappointed in the product. I bought the first and brought it home and it didn't work. So I took it back to Target and replaced it. That one lasted 4 months and has stopped working. I have cleaned and maintained like specified but no luck.
