This works!
During the winter my bedroom gets really dry to the point I get nose bleeds and a sinus infection. I had this running for a few days on medium which then I was able to breathe comfortably again. This product is light and quiet enough for me to sleep through the night. It def works well for up to 300 sq ft. Will continue to use it. I suggest to do weekly cleaning and follow cleaning instructions provided.

I rarely write any review but I do this for Vick’s Humidifier. I love it cuz of vapor pad; it helps my sick kids with cold or flu or even coughing to sleep at night well. I have it for a year or 2 now; don’t have any issue with leaking but it can get moldy if not cleaning properly per direction. When my boy was sick for a week, we used it daily and when he got better and I stopped use it and I forgot to clean it and let it dry and store it. As a result, it got black mold all over especially small areas. However, I got it all that removed by soaking it with water and vinegar and using small tiny brushes to clean small areas and dish soap and water.

I bought this in store and I opened the package to have the manual being a little damp and then I checked every detail of the actual machine and it was moist and had some water! So gross. Do better! Do not place returns of these items back on shelf.

I’ve had two of these in the past three years. Works okay. BEWARE when purchasing though. My son was sick so I went to purchase one to keep at my in laws where we were visiting at the time. Soon as we opened it we noticed mold and the base of the tank had an oily substance so the item was definitely used and resold.

I have owned this for one year exactly. When it was being stored, i made sure it was completely dry and clean per the instructions. i used it today after it was in storage for a few months and it works ok, but the light flashes out of control and i’m not able to turn it off. Obviously not something you should have in any sleeping persons room but especially not a sick baby.

Impossible to clean
Impossible to clean! I have had so many issues with cleaning this because there are so many small areas that I can’t even get to with a toothbrush. I’ve always had Ipsy with this spewing mineral deposits all over the place, even using distiller water.

Vicks Humidifier
I’m extremely disappointed with this Vicks humidifier. When I first purchased it, I was happy with the design and the amount of mist it produced. Unfortunately, that didn’t last long. After only a few months of use, it completely stopped working. It no longer powers on, and nothing I’ve tried- cleaning, resetting, or checking the cord has fixed the issue. I followed the cleaning instructions and took good care of it, so there’s no reason it should have failed so quickly. Very disappointed in the quality and reliability.
