  • A: Kindly refer to the back of your manual for detailed cleaning instructions! For your convenience, we have listed the deep cleaning/descaling/disinfecting process below: 1. Fill the tank with 3 US cups / 710 mL of distilled white vinegar. 2. Replace the tank cover and swish the solution around the tank. 3. Place the tank on the base and soak for 15–20 minutes. The solution will drain into the base chamber and loosen scale (mineral buildup) in the tank and in the base chamber (including the transducer and float).  4. Carefully dump the solution from the tank and base, ensuring liquid does not flow into the air outlet. 5. If needed, use a soft cloth, the included cleaning brush, or a dish brush to remove scale from all parts 6. Thoroughly rinse all components of the humidifier (carefully avoiding the air outlet and power cord). 7. Pat base and tank dry, and allow to air dry for a day or two.   • A: The filter can last up to a month, depending on the quality of the water and how often the humidifier is used. You can soak the filter in distilled white vinegar and then rinse it under warm water to clean it.

Humidity indicator accuracy is questionable.

I find it weird that when placed in one corner of a small bedroom, the humidity level shows 41% and when placed in the opposite corner, the humidity level shows 49%. Does this mean that the humidity level that is being displayed not the humidity of the room but of the small area that the humidifier is sitting in? Just curious because the value is sometimes off by 8% and that is a huge difference.

Less than one year no longer anle to use app/wifi

OK humidifier but less than a year of using it, it won’t reconnect to WiFi so app features are useless. The tank does not last more than one night so I use a lot of water with it. Overall it is just meh.

1 Year Lifespan

After 1 year, the unit started disconnecting from WiFi and we cannot restablish connection. Once the unit is no longer hooked up to the app, you cannot set a specific humidity percentage any longer, making the unit useless. When contacting the manufacturer, you can only communicate with them through email, which takes 2-3 days for each response once you get them the original invoice, model number, etc At this point I'm still waiting for a response from the manufacturer as to whether they are going to replace the unit, after getting them everything they've requested.

I always forget how many pieces are at the bottom of the Levoit humidifiers. Bought this to go in my babies room so we could check humidity levels too and now it’s moldy after using filtered water and cleaning it regularly. Wish there was a better system for cleaning it besides having to use a little brush to get everywhere. Not worth the headache and should have returned it.

Great device with smart features.

The app allows you to put the device into an auto mode so that it will turn itself on and off based off the humidity in the room. There is also a night light feature which has an option to rotate through colors. It’s a bit expensive but I think it’s worth it. It saved my eyes during a visit to a low humidity state during the holidays. I used it at night and it really kept me comfortable. However, if you’re running it all day and trying to boost the humidity by 20-30% please know you will not get 3 days worth of water like the box says. Be prepared to replace the water at least once or twice a day.

No bluetooth even thiugh advertised on box and paperwork

This humidifier advertises Bluetooth with the VeSync app. After registering and trying to sync to my VeSync app I realize there is no WiFi button. So the manual, box and all paperwork is deceptive for this model. Don't buy if you want to use Bluetooth. There is no WiFi compatibility. Seems fine as a regular humidifier but not as advertised.

Do not recommend

Do not buy this. After one day, the connection to the app to control the device failed and there was no way to get it back. Then it fails while on about every few hours, which then turns off the whole system, including the night light. That will likely make your kid wake up
