Humidifier with an Ambiance

I enjoy the color changes and the cool mist and the sounds of the water flow. It sounds like a fountain and sets a soothing tone for my room as I go to sleep. I am impressed with the tower design as it takes up little floor space. The remote control that comes with it is very convenient for controlling from my bed. I am learning, though, if I use filtered water from a pitcher, that it needs to be cleaned two or three times a month. Also, the best way to prevent water damage to electrical components is to pour into the tank, and not through the mesh on top, although it was very convenient. My unit was damaged from water ingress into those parts, but I found the customer service very courteous and accommodating. Ideally, distilled water should be used if your budget allows. My water pitcher filter is very good but not as optimal. I go through more water due to the semi-arid climate I live in. Also, when cleaning, I suggest using equal parts of distilled white vinegar and water to ensure the safe descaling of any mineral buildup. It will prolong the life of the unit.

It was nice while it worked

I liked many of the intelligent features of this humidifier but the instructions that came with it were poorly written. There were grammatical errors and typos. It was somewhat confusing, especially how maintenance and troubleshooting were explained. As it is, my unit stopped working after the return deadline for the store. I've only had it for a couple months. I'll be contacting the manufacturer. It was an expensive purchase for me to just throw away.
