Description
A reimagined humidifier that promotes easy breathing, healthy skin and better sleep for the entire family. Incorporating a humidifier can help alleviate nasal congestion, cough and other symptoms of cold, flu or allergies. The Canopy Humidifier is pediatrician recommended and uses a proprietary mold inhibiting technology called Smart Persistent Airflow. This allows the device to run until completely dry inside; eliminating remnant water and inhibiting mold growth. Designed for bedrooms and nurseries, this Humidifier is evaporative, which means there is no mist - just filtered, hydrated air. The device works with your home’s tap water and a paper filter to hydrate your space. The filter catches minerals, metals and other particles in the water before evaporating into the air. It is recommended that filters be replaced every six weeks. The dishwasher-safe component parts are easy to clean and are dishwasher safe. This humidifier has four settings; low, medium, high or auto-mode. Auto-mode is light sensitive, preserving water during the day and increasing humidification at night. The humidifier tank is 2.5 liters and run time is up to 36 hours, depending on the setting.

A: Probably - since it is evaporate. It is likely the best option if salt water is your only option... but you may face corrosion issues with the sensing probes.

A: The Target 4-in-1 Bedside Humidifier is similar to both Canopy Bedside Humidifiers. They all have the same effective range of 500 sq ft. This model includes the standard three fan speeds with Auto Mode. While it doesn't feature the UV-C light found in our Bedside Humidifiers, we're confident that our SPA technology and proper maintenance will uphold our mold-reducing guarantee. For easy cleaning, the tank, tank cap, tray, and new removable top grate are all dishwasher safe. After a few months of having it, it will no longer produce mist unless there’s a brand new dry filter in it. Filters are supposed to be good for 5-7 weeks. After about 2 weeks nothing comes out, water level in the tank doesn’t go down, and then mold grows inside the basin. This has happened several times now. The remedy is to either take it apart and pour water out if the basin every few days, or change the filter after about 2 weeks. Neither are acceptable in my opinion. I’ve never owned a humidifier that works so poorly, and this is the most expensive one I’ve owned. It is nice you can run it through the dishwasher, but that’s about the only nice thing about it.

It's important to note that Canopy Bedside Humidifiers, including the 4-in-1 use evaporative technology and are designed not to produce visible mist, you should still see the water level in the tank decrease as it operates. If that isn’t happening, it often means the filter is either oversaturated or not wicking water properly. We recommend thoroughly cleaning the tank and tray regularly (they’re dishwasher safe, which you noted), and ensuring the filter is fully soaked before first use and replaced at the recommended interval of every 6 weeks.

It's wild to me that one of the "4 in 1" features is for white noise. it does not in fact have a white noise feature but rather they market the loud fan as "white noise". bummed but should've known this humidifier was too good to be true. i like the smaller footprint and the red light but it's really just a humidifier with a light. for the aroma diffuser, you have to buy extra product and again no white noise. other things i wish i would've known: the fan stays on all the time. "as long as there's water in the tank the fan will remain on" also filters aren't super cheap and apparently you have to replace them often as they start to smell.

I have owned this humidifier for six months now. I have two other whole room humidifiers by a popular big brand name. Pros: It’s so easy to clean the tank and base It definitely is less likely to carry mold or dust build up than my others (which are much bigger) Easy to fill Easy to unplug the cord from the unit to go clean the parts instead of moving furniture to unplug from the wall Cons: The filters are ridiculously expensive. I only use humidifiers that filter and while I enjoy this product, the cost of the filters is my number one reason for not recommending this humidifier to friends (i recommend my others) It’s easy to splash a bit of water out every time you flip the filter (which is daily for me) You can buy this unit from Target but you can’t get the filters through them…. So, i have to have them on subscription

I love this humidifier so much. The one we had before worked decent but it would always grow mold and there was no way to clean it out properly so I would avoid running it. This one is amazing because so much of it is dishwasher safe and along with that it has a replaceable filter so you can make sure the air quality stays great. It has a little red nightlight which we love and the essential oil spot with stones is a great touch because we love adding a little scent or nasal clearing scent when the kids are sick. Highly recommend, I need one for every room in my house!
