It’s a helpful appliance when it comes to having a cold and providing air when it’s dry in the change of seasons –BUT-I had to take two stars away because the light keeps us up at night. There’s a sleep mode for the light but it shuts off the mist so that doesn’t make sense to me because the off and on button does that… So what is the feature of the sleep button is to make the screen blank. It could be a defect in this one, but I sure didn’t have time to get another one when my little one was sick. Otherwise this appliance is a great product, good price, and it works well!

For the Classic 300S, the Sleep Mode function changes the humidifier’s mist setting to Auto Mode, turns off the display lights, and turns off the night light. To have the unit on your preferred setting while the display is off, please press and hold the night light button for about 3-5 seconds. As a first-time mom, I love this humidifier! I’m so glad I ordered before the fall and winter seasons. I already am learning a lot about babies, and there’s a lot to keep track of. I wanted this smart humidifier so I could plug it in, set the humidity settings, and then let the device measure and regulate the humidity without me having to think about it. I also love that the light can be turned on or off so it’s not bright at night. Also, it’s top-fill so I can pour a cup of water into it as needed rather than having to remove the whole container to turn upside down and refill like other humidifiers I’ve used in the past!

Stopped working after a month of use. No more mist. Cleaned out filter. Used filtered water all times. Something in the filter gets jammed and it fails to properly function.

Leaked and spilled water everywhere. My humidifier was on a leveled table and spilled water onto the floor. Do not get. When I tried to trouble shoot the only suggestion was to check if it was on a leveled surface. My table is sturdy and I had humidifiers before on the same table with no issue. Will be returning asap

Does what it says on the tin. Had mine for over a year and it's still going strong. Like all humidifiers I've tried, there are enough nooks and crannies inside that cleaning out the pink stuff is a chore. I pray one day to discover one that is easy to clean. The smart features and app work just fine, but mostly go unused. It is nice to be able to turn of the front screen without getting out of bed though. But mostly I just want to set it and forget it so I always leave it on auto mode at my desired %. Having auto mode paired with a built in humidity sensor is definitely great. If I could just adjust the % from the front of the device instead of an app, this would be 4 stars, and if it was easy to clean, it'd be 5!

This humidifier works amazingly. We bought it while our baby was sick and after just an hour with it on. I could finally breathe and baby slept through the night. This is the second Levoit product we have and it won’t be the last. They are expensive but totally worth it for us. The app works wonders - endless customizable settings and super convenient.

I purchased this humidifier after my very excellent Air-O-Swiss 7144 didn't operate when I plugged it in this fall. I've had the unit for about 12 years. I've been using humidifiers of various types for 30 years or more & I always use distilled water only, & never use the heat option. I find this Levoit to be acceptable, although it is not as customizable as the AOS. I have just read that the flexibility I'm looking for may be available through the VeSync app, which I will begin using. While the unit is relatively quiet, the noise is noticeable to a person with sensitive hearing. I like the top-filling feature, although removing the lid to refill it leads to water from the underside dripping during removal, a relatively minor inconvenience, but, I think, worth mentioning.
