High Pitched Noise
We bought this humidifier snd it died after two weeks and we exchanged for the same one. It has the same behavior as the last one, high pitch whistling noise that makes me crazy, and even with putting filtered water in it, the filter turned brown. I will be returning this second one, it’s a shame cause it helped tremendously with my dry skin and nose during the cold weeks.

Love the look and the features
Overall I really like this humidifier and all of its extra features. I appreciate having the ability to adjust it via an app and also see what the humidity level is in the room. The mist is excellent. My only dislike is that the filter became quickly yellowed (after one use). After doing some research it looks like this might be because we have hard water. I will definitely try it again with filtered water, but the fact that you can see the yellowed filters since the exterior of the humidifier is clear takes away from the total aesthetic of this humidifier.

Easier to fill than other models
We like this model over others we own. It’s easy to refill and the digital humidity monitor is helpful. We have humidifiers throughout our house in the winter months. Typically they last a few years if you take care of them. We have found using filtered or distilled water works best.

Emits High Pitch Frequency Sound
Bought it at a nearby Target location, took it home, set it up in the bedroom, and as soon as we turned it on it began emitting a high pitch frequency sound. We sleep with a fan on for white noise and you can still here the high pitch sound. It's such a shame, because I otherwise really enjoy this humidifier but we can't sleep with the noise. Changing settings did not remove it, it only stops when it turns off. Will be returning.

Good for a very short time
Worked well for the second half of last winter. It was nice to be about to monitor humidity and set the upper and lower limit (we have it in a room where items need a specific humidity). Plugged it in for this season and it’s dead. It’s too pricey for just a couple months of use.

Noises and Leaks
High pitched noise, extremely difficult to fully clean, builds mold very quickly, and it leaks sooooo often. Since the tank is so large, you can imagine how terrible the leak is.

I received this humidifier today. When I opened the package, I notice there was water all over. I took the humidifier saw there was mold. This had obviously been used and returned. I am disappointed that Target did not take the time to check and see if this had been used or not BEFORE sending it on to another customer. This is being returned today.

It works fine, but pink mold can grow pretty easily in it, and it's almost impossible to fully clean. There's tiny little crevices that no cleaning tool can reach, and can't be soaked unless you fill a tub

After what felt like an exhaustive search and several articles recommending this humidifier, I was stunned that it was less than $100! It works as a humidifier but the thing that I hate is this high-pitched whistling sound all night that drives me crazy. Will be returning. Ughhh

Cons: The description states the water lasts 60 hours, but it only lasts around 22 hours running on auto. Requires downloading an app to set the humidity range for the "auto"setting Device needs to run almost constantly to cover an area smaller than the maximum square footage listed. Pros: Auto setting allows you to set a humidity range on your phone. If reached, the device turns off to save energy. It's very quiet. You can turn off all display lights. It was on sale for a decent price.

Nice except sleep button shuts off mist!
It’s a helpful appliance when it comes to having a cold and providing air when it’s dry in the change of seasons –BUT-I had to take two stars away because the light keeps us up at night. There’s a sleep mode for the light but it shuts off the mist so that doesn’t make sense to me because the off and on button does that… So what is the feature of the sleep button is to make the screen blank. It could be a defect in this one, but I sure didn’t have time to get another one when my little one was sick. Otherwise this appliance is a great product, good price, and it works well!

For the Classic 300S, the Sleep Mode function changes the humidifier’s mist setting to Auto Mode, turns off the display lights, and turns off the night light. To have the unit on your preferred setting while the display is off, please press and hold the night light button for about 3-5 seconds. As a first-time mom, I love this humidifier! I’m so glad I ordered before the fall and winter seasons. I already am learning a lot about babies, and there’s a lot to keep track of. I wanted this smart humidifier so I could plug it in, set the humidity settings, and then let the device measure and regulate the humidity without me having to think about it. I also love that the light can be turned on or off so it’s not bright at night. Also, it’s top-fill so I can pour a cup of water into it as needed rather than having to remove the whole container to turn upside down and refill like other humidifiers I’ve used in the past!
