Q: How many cups of water do you use to fill tank on the crane humidifier

A: This water tank holds half of a gallon of water. If you fill the tank all the way to the top, that will be the full half gallon capacity.

Q: How do you clean this, are you supposed to use vinegar and water and let the machine run?

A: You can fill the tank and base of this unit of water and white vinegar in equal proportions and let the unit sit and soak for 30-60 minutes, and then emptying and rinsing the unit with clean tap water. We strongly advise against running this unit with the vinegar and water mixture.

A: This unit is not dishwasher safe. You can use two tablespoons of bleach and one cup of water to make a stronger cleaning solution.

Q: Are you able to replace the filter cartridge or otherwise clean it? Ours is looking pinkish and needs cleaning or replacing.

A: The Droplet unit does work like that. The power light goes out, is the unit still creating mist for you, even thought the light is out?

A: Clean the Water Tank with a water & white vinegar solution and rinse with clean water. Leave the empty Water Tank open in a cool place for 12 hours without the Water Tank Cap attached.

So I know that for this price I really shouldn't expect like a big giant puff missed to be coming out when it's at its max level but the sheer audacity for this items max level to be at the bare minimum of others that I've seen for a similar price, is abysmal!

I bought this model originally because I really liked the look. I only use it at most 2-3 months of year, I use it exactly per the manual and clean it thoroughly every week exactly as recommended, and store in the originally box in a clean, dry place the months not in use. I’ve had 2 of these and after a couple of years, they just randomly stop working. I reached out to customer service the first time it happened and received a complimentary replacement model, then a couple of years later when that one also suddenly stopped working, I again reached out to customer service but they would NOT replace it. So I will not be buying from this company anymore since I want quality products that last, especially when taken care of. Also, both of the customer service reps I spoke to each time had a slight attitude which isn’t good customer service either.

I've now purchased this item twice. The first unit lasted for 4 months and then stopped working. I purchased a second unit because I really liked it (when it worked!) and it only lasted three months before it stopped producing mist. I troubleshooted to no avail. I would recommend purchasing the protection plan with this unit because you will need it! 0/2!

Same as everyone else- broke within a month. The handle breaks and water leaks out all around the humidifier. We bought one and thought maybe it was faulty because it broke after the first time, returned and bought a new one. Same exact thing happened the second time. Don’t waste your money.

As others have stated, it breaks easily. I've had it 4 months now, the handle broke a week ago and the blue top gets stuck. Just broke the blue top trying to get it unstuck and now it's worthless.

The design is awful. It's nearly impossible to get the top part back of the base after use to refill it. The top plastic handle is so cheap and flimsy. For moms of little ones, when holding your babe at night getting them ready for bed, turning this on with one finger (which should be a piece of cake) is not easy. The whole thing moves so you need both hands just to to hold it place while you press the on botton. We literally threw the whole thing away after a few uses.
