What is it really doing?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Filtered Cool Moisture Humidifier by Vicks releases an invisible cool mist to help relieve dry indoor air. I’m not sure I have noticed much difference in my home. I still don’t fully understand what its purpose is. It’s easy to set up, runs quietly on low but is very loud on the second setting. The air it pushes out is also very very cold. I will not use this in the winter. Will be nice in the summer when cool air is welcome.

Effective, more comfortable breathing at home
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I both suffer chronic allergies and asthma with our symptoms worsening during the Fall and Winter months as our climate becomes especially dry and we have found using this Vicks Filtered Cool Moisture Humidifier, which we received complimentary for product trial, to be extremely helpful in comforting and decreasing our dry coughs, irritated throats, and dry nasal passages. This humidifier is effective, simple to use, and convenient. I love that it can run it for a full 8 hours on a single tank of water and I don’t have to worry about getting out of bed to fill the tank during the night. Plus, the tank has a wide opening for easy, mess free filling. Unlike my old device, this unit runs quietly and cleanly. I can hear the fan gently humming as the humidifier is on but, this is not a loud noise and it does not disturb our sleep. I can place this humidifier where needed without worrying about excessive water or wetness, it doesn’t spray out large drops of water or spurt out water like many other devices do. I truly appreciate the filter system, we have hard water and I am happy to know that the filter system captures minerals and impurities from the water before evaporating moisture into our dry air humidifying it. We also like having the option to use Vicks VapoPads, they are easy to insert at the front panel of this humidifier and they add a menthol and eucalyptus vapor we find effective at helping to reduce our nasal and sinus congestion. An excellent solution for effectively adding humidity into rooms and it’s made by Vicks, a brand I’ve been trusting for years to bring me convenient and innovative respiratory solutions. I definitely recommend Vicks Filtered Cool Mist Humidifier as it is effectively providing us more comfortable breathing at home!

Easy to assemble

Great for Congestion but needs a Sensor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using it during some recent cold days, and overall, I like it. The design isn’t the most stylish, but it gets the job done. We use purified water so the filter lasts longer. The menthol tablets for congestion and sinus relief feel so nice. It smells fresh and soothing, which is perfect when you’re feeling under the weather. We mostly use it at night, and it helps a lot. The main reason I gave it 4 stars is because it doesn’t have a sensor to automatically turn off when the water runs out. I left it on overnight once, and the filter got burned after the water ran dry. Adding that feature would be a great improvement. The mist isn’t visible and the airflow feels more like a gentle fan. The air only blows in one direction to the side, and you can’t adjust it, so placement matters. In general, the design isn’t perfect, but it works well especially for congestion relief with the menthol tablets.

Obsessed!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this Vicks Cool Moisture Filtered Humidifier and honestly love it. One of my favorite things about it is how long the water lasts — I can fill it once and it easily runs for a couple of days without needing a refill. That alone has been life changing. I’ve had humidifiers before that wouldn’t even make it through the night, so constantly refilling them was frustrating, especially when you’re already tired or dealing with sick kids. This one is so much more reliable and low-maintenance. I also love that you can add not just one, but two Vicks VapoPads at the same time. Being able to double up really helps when congestion is bad and makes the whole room feel extra soothing. It runs quietly, keeps the air comfortable, and really helps with dry air, coughing, and congestion. I love knowing it’s working all night (and beyond) without worrying about it running dry. Such a simple upgrade, but it’s made a big difference in our home. I received complimentary from Influenster in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This humidifier by Vicks is great to have on hand for cold season. There’s a cool mist that comes out with two settings and 20 plus hour run time. I like that it doesn’t make the room feel overly humid like ones I’ve used in the past. The set up is easy and straightforward. It has a little hum but it isn’t loud. I like that this has filter for a more clean moisture and a slot for Vicks vapor pads to work along with the humidifier to help provide even more relief from congestion or dry noses. I think it works pretty well especially in smaller spaces like a room that you can close the door to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the concept of this humidifier and the cool moisture really helps keep the air comfortable, especially during the dry winter months. It works well and does what it’s supposed to, but one thing I didn’t expect is the bubbling noise it makes every now and then. The sound isn’t constant, but when it happens it’s loud enough to startle us while we’re sleeping. Because of that, we’ve decided to use it only during the daytime. If you’re a light sleeper, just be aware of the occasional bubble noise — otherwise it’s a solid humidifier for daily use.

Not worth it
This humidifier kind of sucks. It uses a fan to push out the air. It is quite loud ans scared my toddler. She wouldn't go near it. Because of the fan like function, the air still felt very dry and I felt it really didnt do a great job. I was sick and in a state with pretty dry climate, so I was really looking forward to this product and was very disappointed.

Every dry home needs one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is exactly what our home needed in this dry season! It was very easy to setup, use and maintain. It holds a large amount of water and the seal works very well. It has two settings to adjust the amount of water it uses. There have been times where I've woken up with a bloody nose from our house being so dry in the winter, but that problem has been solved with this humidifier by Vicks! It even has a spot to fit two of their scent pads, where the previous humidifier I bought years ago only had one slot for the scent pads. Definitely an upgrade!

Not sure if I got a faulty
Not sure if I could have faulty, but no mist has been seen coming out, when its on the water last a long time. Which gives me an indication that it's not working great compared to my other kids in the other room that one in the morning.I need to refill, and you can actually see the mist.

Within a week of using, the tank decided to let loose and leak water out of the back where the electrical components are. Also, the filter started yellowing after only 5 or 6 uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This humidifier is my new favorite thing. Setup was so easy, just fill the tank at the sink (the opening is nice and wide) and plug it in. It started putting out a cool, quiet mist right away. It’s made a huge difference for my dry winter skin and that awful dry nose feeling. I can actually breathe at night now, and I’ve been sleeping so much better.

Perfect for my toddler room
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried so many humidifiers over the years, and honestly, most of them have the same problem — you have to set a timer, or the entire room ends up wet and uncomfortable. But this one is completely different. This Vicks Filtered Cool Mist Humidifier uses a smart filtered technology that controls the mist output, so it does not over-humidify the room. You just turn it on… and it works perfectly on its own. It’s also very quiet — on the higher setting you can hear a soft sound, but it’s more like a soothing white-noise machine, not a loud humidifier. Honestly, I found it really calming. What I love most is that it’s perfect for my toddler’s room. She doesn’t like inhalers at all, but this is even better — especially when I use it with Vicks VapoPads. The gentle vapors help her breathe easier while she sleeps.
