Doesn't open to desinfect
Single use item. It is one whole piece with a tiny suction opening, there is no magic in the world that can sanitize it. It says dishwasher safe, it is all kind of wash safe because i doubt any water can get inside not speaking about soap or anything dezinfectant. If you choose to use it multiple times good luck with keeping the germs away.

While the suction opening is small for safety and effectiveness, the unit is engineered so that water and soap can thoroughly clean the internal pathway when rinsed properly. It is also top-rack dishwasher safe, as noted, and we recommend washing immediately after each use with warm soapy water and allowing it to fully air dry. MOLD
WILL MOLD! Do not use this product. It will get moldy on the inside despite being washed and dried between uses. Extremely heartbroken and upset that mold when directly into my newborns nostril.

Don’t buy this one, it breaks. It gets a hole on the side and rips open. Plus hard to clean but doesn’t matter when it rips open anyway.

Great affordable aspirator
One of the best nose aspirators I purchased so far (aside from my Nose Frida). This suctions similar to the aspirators you get when you are discharged after giving birth. They are sturdy and actually suction very well! This is really helpful right now that I’m sick and don’t have “power lungs”. For $5. You can’t beat that.

The suction is really weak, I have to attempt multiple times on my little one to the point he gets frustrated. I use a saline spray prior to make it easier but the suction is very weak. The tip is slightly smaller than the ones given at the hospital.
