Q: Is it safe to use this device inside a pergola? How hot does it get at the bottom, i.e. is it a fire hazard for the wooden floor or the wooden ceiling even if the sides are ventilated?

  • A: Thank you for your question. Use inside of a pergola should be fine with proper ventilation and so long as the unit is not left unattended. Heat will escape from the top of the unit rather than the bottom and sides.

Q: We purchased this fire pit and it does not always ignite. We have plenty of gas in the tank, the lava rocks are dry, and we have moved the lava rocks away from the center to ignite. Still doesn't work. Any ideas?

Fire pit is nice, the cover is not

Well the fire pit is nice, however, the cover is like a piece of tissue paper. Had the fire pit for one day and the cover is torn and has holes all over it. I guess a little wind does not work well with this cover.

Great Fire Table

We just received this and have used it a couple of times. It assembled easily and works great! Although in the description it says it is brown, I would definitely say it is closer to black then brown.
