A: This item is designed for seasonal use. Running the motor 24/7 will shorten the life span of the item. While there is no timer function, it is recommended to only keep plugged in 4-6 hours per day through the holiday season.

The penguin is adorable! It's such a great addition to our holiday decorations. I had to take a star off for the stakes they include for keeping the penguin upright. Every one of them snapped when I was trying to put them in the ground (the ground is not frozen). They really cheaped out on the stakes.
