    Daily Use Approved

    I have super fair skin so a daily spf is a must, but with combination skin sometimes sunscreen makes me look oily. This product absorbs in seemlessly and leaves me feeling protected and hydrated. I don’t notice any additional shiny or oiliness as I do with other SPFs. I also appreciate that it doesn’t smell like a strong sunscreen and it has a controlled dispenser so you can get the perfect amount. I have a small bottle but it has lasted me so well and stores really well in my cabinet due to the size!

    Effective, but white cast is a dealbreaker

    I really wanted to love this because I trust La Roche-Posay’s efficacy, and the lotion itself feels nice. However, as someone new to mineral sunscreens, I wasn't prepared for the significant white cast. I have a fair/pale complexion, and even on me, I notice a significant paling after applying. It leaves a noticeable white film that doesn't really sink in. I imagine it would be even more noticeable on darker skin tones. I purchased this to function as an everyday face sunscreen, but if I had known how it would look on my skin, I would have opted for a different product. I also found that it doesn't play very well with other products; it pilled when I applied it over a water-based moisturizer and made my makeup application feel uneven. I applied it before exercising and noticed that when I sweat, the product migrated into my eyes - it didn't necessarily sting or burn, but was noticeable. I’d still recommend it if you don't mind the white cast, but I personally wouldn't have bought it if I knew it would be this visible and difficult to layer.

    The only brand to turn to for sunscreen

    The best brand sunscreen for skin prone to breakouts. La Roche Posay skin and body care is my good to for high quality. I have very dry skin and using their products has really helped - also on my LO who suffers with eczema.

    Unusable white cast

    The white cast left by Anthelios SPF 50 Gentle Lotion Mineral Sunscreen renders it publicly unusable. I am a pale person, and I look like I’m doing cultural appropriation with how white it is. It barely fades down after application. I have to mix it with 75% of a tinted sunscreen that is too orange for me just to make it look a little bit like a skin tone.

    The packaging of this SPF is a large squeeze tube! The reason I like this SPF is because it does not make your skin look oily. It does not leave a residue and it is water resistant up to 60 minutes and it has broad spectrum as SPF in it and it’s also gentle on your skin you can’t even use this on your little ones. THIS SPF ALSO HAS UVA PLUS UVB WHICH I BELIEVE ALL SUNSCREENS NEED THIS OR SHOULD HAVE THIS! This SPF is also suitable for sensitive skin. It is pediatrician and dermatologist tested. It is fragrance free and paraben free… This SPF absorbs immediately into the skin it glides someone like a lotion, but absorbs immediately leaving no white cast! The coverage is amazing that it provides because a little goes along way and with it being waterproof you don’t have to add as many times throughout the day. This can also be applied to your face and to your body. This is the only SPF I have been using since I have tried this if you are on the market for a new SPF give give this one a try you will not be disappointed. It is one of the best on the market!

    Great product, matte finish, not a big white cast.

    This product is amazing and I love how it doesn’t leave that weird greasy look after and leaves a matte finish! I hate how I look tanned so this definitely helped me stop tanning! One thing that could be better is maybe how fast it dries into your skin so that I don’t leave the house with white spots I didn’t notice.
