I absolutely LOVE the birch moisturizing sunscreen, but this is not the same as the original. The Korean version is lightweight, absorbs quickly, never feels sticky or greasy, and has no “sunscreen” smell. It is my holy grail SPF. Unfortunately, when I ordered through the U.S. website, I discovered the formula had been changed to meet regulations here. The U.S. version is completely different. Thick, greasy, and with the strong sunscreen scent I was so happy to avoid before. I wish the brand had been more transparent about the product differences. Labeling it as “Multi-award-winning. Korea’s bestselling sunscreen for years” is untrue if the formula has been altered. It’s disappointing to think you’re getting the same product when it’s not. Please be more transparent about this to your U.S. consumers.

This product goes on smoothly without leaving a white cast. It can feel a bit greasy initially, but blotting with a paper towel fixes that, and by the end of the day, it feels light and normal on my skin. I have dry skin by the way.

I really had high hopes but in comparison to BOJ, I could feel it resting on top of my skin and it was sticky sigh. I really wish it would have worked out. There wasn't a white cast and it made my skin look good and dewy I just couldn't tolerate the feeling of stickiness.

Ahhhh nooo. Completely different formulation to the one you buy in Korea unless they changed the formulation all around in the last year or so. The one at Target is greasy. I think they’re trying to make it seem like glass skin but the old formulation was perfect 😭

I have very sensitive skin. This sun protection doesn’t smell like regular sunscreen and isn’t sticky like some other sunblocks. I can use it every day and skin doesn’t react in any negative way.

I really like the texture of this sunscreen. Its not as milky and lightweight as i would like it to be but its definitely more lightweight than most us sunscreens. It feels a little heavy at first but not too crazy. I usually fan myself so it can absorb quicker but its only like 5% greasy/shiny which i really appreciate. The packaging and bottle are rly cute but i wish it was cheaper

This product made my skin both more oily while also drying me out. I feel disgusting with it on and like I have to strip my skin by cleansing to feel better. Granted no one advertised this for oily skin but I thought I would try since it's a Korean brand. I have more oily skin and it's increasingly irritated and breaking out. This did work nicely on my neck and chest when I have more normal/dry skin so if you have that type you probably will love this.

Saw this product at the top of a bunch of top sunscreen lists. It's ranked so highly for good reason - it goes on smooth, not greasy, no weird smell, doesn't sit on top of your skin - it feels like nothing. Very easy to use because it's so unobtrusive, but still effective. Love this and will evangelize to all about how great it is.

you’ll see a lot of negative reviews stating that they changed the formula on this site. that’s because the “UV Lock” version sold here is specifically made for the U.S. to align with our outdated FDA regulations. it’s gonna perform like every terrible sunscreen you can get here. If you want the real, good korean version, i suggest getting it on olive young.
