    The container was partially open and the powder had spilled out. it should have a safety seal, per the company, but this one must've been opened before and returned because there was no seal. Target really need to do a better job with packing online orders. I immediately requested a new one.

    Tastes bad

    Can confirm that the taste is awful. I use the Orgain protein powder every morning and love it. I added this and it was an instant ick! I choked it down thinking I'd get used to it, but will be returning because the thought of trying to do that again makes me feel sick. It's really bad

    Smells aweful

    Let me first say that I’m not terribly sensitive to taste and have a poor sense of smell. If I’m complaining there’s definitely an issue. There is a weird mix of flavors here. Although it’s unsweetened, there’s a vague hint of vanilla- maybe it’s processed at the same plant as the flavored protein powders and picks up some of that taste? At the same time, there is an almost fish like funk that makes it really terrible in any beverage. I first tried it in black coffee and had to pour it straight down the drain. Since then I’ve tried lots of things to cover the taste- plenty of cream and sugar, flavored syrups, hot cocoa, chai lattes, all terrible. And thanks to the vanilla kick, it can’t go in broths or savory foods either. Really just horrible.
