I received this product for reviewing purposes. This box is great. It's not to bulky, it's durable and the latches work really well. A box that is definitely of good quality.

This item is great to store many items. Over the years I have collected many sport teams shirts for my collection. I was running out of closet space. Using this solved my storage space and it fits great in the bottom of my closet. "I received this product as part of a My-Take research study."

This 70 qt tote will fit the bill. when you need to store lots of items in one place. You can see what's inside, it has color latches, which secure the lid to the tote. Stackable configuration as well. Like all Sterilite totes and products this is built to last. "I received this product as part of a My-Take research study."

Perfect and sturdy. I would get this again as it appears they would stack well too.

Planned to replace an older sterilite that didn’t have the ultra latching capability. The 70 qt is not as deep as the other sterilite box I wanted to replace for its intended purpose. Latches on this are great but like more depth

Great box. Plenty of room. Best feature is the lid and snaps. They are very strong and secure. I received this product as part of a My-Take research study.

This is a great size for storing large bedding during off seasons. I have fall/winter and spring/summer covers and during the off seasons, I use these sized ones to store in my closet. I do see other reviews having issues with the lids. I don’t have this issue but I am Just storing 1 bulky bedding in each and not stacking so for that purpose. This is amazing!

I love this style, size and that its clear so I csn see my storage items for the holidays. I have various totes of which I label but aren't clear. I like being able to latch easily too. This works better thsn some snap on lids!

This latch box is super useful and very spacious. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver, considering its large size. I like the clear sides all around so that I can remember what I put in there. The latches are easy to open and close and I'm overall very happy with this box!

The 70 quart tote really holds quite a lot. I like that it is see through so I can easily see what is inside, especially after it's been stored for a while you tend to forget where things are! The latch lid is so easy to open and close. I feel it secures the lid.A lot better and keeps your items inside dust free.

I need replacement lids. Please don't any longer take advantage of consumers by forcing them to buy a new container to get a lid. This is wasteful and wrong. We should be able to purchase replacement lids. I agree with others that I would give this 5 stars if the lids would hold up. Because the lids do not hold up like they do on your other styles of tubs, I believe you should offer replacements. Thank you.

If these boxes had better lids, I’d give them 5 stars. I have about 25 of these and at least 5 have broken lids now. The boxes themselves and the latches have had zero issues. Doesn’t seem like it’s possible to buy just the lids either. Guess the company expects you to re-buy a set each time something breaks. Sad and definitely not something I plan on buying again for my future needs.

The prior lids were a thicker mailable plastic that bubbled up. This allowed for more volume but also stronger boxes. The new lids are flat and more brittle. I have had so many break where as my 15 year old lids are still going strong. I have so many broken new lids and I can’t even purchase new replacements. ( I can’t find them anywhere by themselves). But really the older lid design was much more functional, stronger, crack resistant and provided more volume capacity.

I would give it 5 stars if sterlite would PLEASE SELL REPLACEMENT LIDS!!!!!

No, I'm not talking about me, I'm talking about the containers. These have been a longtime go-to (we probably have 15-20 of them), but I'm realizing what I thought was 1 damaged container is now multiples. Some of these have been stacked for years under medium loads, and as I've moved a few of them the latches have pulled away and pieces of the actual container have shattered. Brittle is how I'd describe it.

My lid and latch also cracked and broke into smaller pieces. I tried duck taping them, but they are kept deteriorating. I was also hoping to find a stronger lid but not sure how that works.The stores sell them together but I just need a stronger lid. Today, the latch also broke. Not good.

Great size box and good design. However, lid design is not good. Easily cracked. Bought four bins and two lids cracked (quickly and just with removing them - not stacking or anything). I came to this site to see if I could replace them but it appears that I need to buy a whole new box?

Trying to purchase replacement lids for these containers that are practically brand new, with negative results from manufacturer Container is useless without the lid.

When I first moved out of my parents house, more than 20 years ago, I like everyone else started with cardboard boxes and miss-matched plastic bins. I went through a few iterations of brands and bin sizes before I found this 70qt at a local store. Over the years I've gotten rid of any other storage container I have and replaced them all with these. I've purchased over 100 of these bins and they have moved across the country and to multiple houses. Both the older design with the bubble on top and the flat top design stack well and don't shift around while transporting them stacked. I went with these for all of my storage needs because I found that fully loaded with metal, or cables, etc I could still manage to get enough leverage on one to pick it up and I could stack them as high as I could reach. The tops can take about 5 more heavy bins worth of weight on top of them before they start to buckle noticeably. If I really need to stack something higher I usually put an extra lid on the bottom bin. I've never had a bin fail on its own under load, however I have had them break because they were dropped off a truck, or rolled down stairs fully loaded. I'm sure Sterilite does not recommend this, but I've also used them to stand on for various jobs, to hold up props, to barricade windows for a hurricane, and as a saw horse. I think every review should have some negatives listed so If I could change anything I'd go back to the old lids with the bubble. They weren't clear, which I really like from the new ones at some retailers, but they could take a little more weight and that extra bubble of space was often needed. As I've aged I've needed to stop carrying really heaving loads, so I've started dividing up some of my 70qt bins into the smaller 30qt and 18qt ones. I love the smaller ones just as much and they have brought much organization to my life.
