The 12-piece knife block set is stocked with all the tools you need to easily tackle your kitchen tasks. This set includes the all-rounder 8-inch chef’s knife, perfect for all kitchen tasks like chopping herbs and dicing onions, and an 8-inch bread knife, ideal for slicing crusty loaves of sourdough. Efficiently mince garlic with the hollow edge santoku, featuring a blade that has small indentations, known as grantons, that prevent food from sticking while cutting.Housed in a handsome hardwood block, this set is complete with a sharpening steel and six 4.5-inch steak knives.Fabricated from durable, high-quality stainless steel, Statement's single-piece, stamped blade construction is lighter than forged knives.     [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You haven't owned a knife set until you've owned a Henkels!! We were blessed to receive a set for our wedding and we have absolutely loved them! We put it on our registry because my parents have had them for over 30 years (since their wedding!) And they seriously have never lost their charm. They have amazing craftsmanship and are never going to leave you without a great sharp knife!

    Henckels surprised me with faulty steak knives

    When I tried to use one of the serrated steak knives I found the tip was very thin and bent. So I checked the rest of these knives and found that three (3) of these knives were the same, thin and bent.

    Poor quality, expected better from Henckels

    I bought this set of knives as a Christmas present for my wife to replace a set of no name steak knives we have had for over 30 years. The quality of the metal in Henckels knives is far inferior to our old knife set. The metal of the steak knives is so thin that the knives bend when cutting resulting in a cut that is not straight. I expected much better from Henckels and regret buying this set. We will probably give this set away and look for a better set

    So disappointed

    I just received my order and four of the knives have bent tips and visible damage. None of the items were properly protected in the box, which likely caused the problem. I am very disappointed with the overall quality, as the steel feels flimsy and cheap.

    Compact yet versatile

    I received this as a work anniversary gift. While I know it's a budget model, it's quality is better than I expected considering these are stamped blades and not forged. The blades are sharp and I find the handles very ergonomic and with good weight which helps make the knives feel balanced and comfortable to use. I have limited kitchen counter space, so I appreciate the compact size yet coming with the essentials.

    A cut above expectations

    Great looking and great performing set of knives. Was overdue for an upgrade and this set had all the basic features plus fits perfectly on my counter and makes it so nice not to have to dig through the bins in the drawer to find the right knife. Love the way it looks and minimal space it takes up, plus the knives are extremely sharp and feel great in my hands. Easy to use and I expect these to last a lifetime. Not going to put in dishwasher, I know hand washing and drying is the way to go with any stainless steel utensil. Just getting started with them but anxious to see how long they stay sharp and continue looking pristine. I don't do a lot of cooking but these knives are a major step up in quality and make me look forward to prepping more meals at home. Very happy with this purchase and wish I had made it sooner.

    Amazing Set for the Price

    Love this set! The knives are constructed very well and feel great in the hand. Super sharp right out of the box and easy to clean as well. I’ve been using Henckels knives for years and don’t plan on ever going back!

    Good knife set at a good price

    Very sharp, nice knives out of the box. They have a quality look and feel balanced. I specifically chose these because they are dishwasher-safe versus my premium knife set that I hand wash. When my wife cooks, she prefers these, as they are sharp enough and lower maintenance.
