Q: I purchased the Cole & Mason battery operated salt & Pepper shaker in October 2023. The Pepper Mill has stopped working I have changed out batteries twice, check to make sure locked position correct.

Needlessly complicated to use: attaching and detaching pieces difficult to perform. Two people trying for 20 minutes to get the device to work before repacking for return.

Dont buy
Got this in April for my bridal shower and I should have read the reviews before putting it on my registry. One of them already doesn’t work anymore. Even replaced all 3000 batteries. Cheaply made.

This is junk
I cannot separate the tube from the grinder or reassemble with pepper and batteries. There is some kind of double alignment and I can't undo the middle part. This is terrible for this price.

Great Mother’s Day Gift!
Bought this for my mom for Mother’s day. Came a couple of days late, but she loves using them!! She and my grandmother think they are so cool. Only wish they could change speed (i.e. more grains/faster); I often find the speed a little slow. But they offer much control!

Lasted a few months
Started off excellent but the pepper grinder started going slower and slower. I thought the batteries died, but the battery area had corrosion on it. I’ve only been using these 3.5 months. I got them around Christmas.

Do NOT buy!
I’ve purchased several of these expensive grinders and they’ve all broke after a short period of use. Probably from stripping the gears when a hard grain or peppercorn is hit. Aggravating.

What did we ever do before spice shakers? I tell you what we did, we spilt spices everywhere, we emptied jars of chilli powder in to dishes by accident rendering them inedible and we also got teaspoons stuck in spice jars! NO NEED TO WORRY NOW! Get yourself a Cole & Mason Saunderton spice shaker and season with control!

Crappy grinders
I received these for Christmas and it took me a couple of months to remember to buy peppercorns and they don't work! my brand new batteries leaked in my brand new grinders!! I've never had anything like this happen before and they will go back to the store!

High Price Tag Cheap Quality
It is expensive and it does not provide any high quality performance. Surface is not finger print proof, it does not come with peppercorns or salt crystals, and it uses 2 x 6 AAA batteries. A total of twelve batteries.

Not as advertised and not worth it
Had these for about a month and they worked. Getting the spices in them and then getting them make together is a pain. Just went to refill them, and the pepper grinder won’t come apart. Additionally, mine did not come with lights, which was a bummer but not a huge deal so i overlooked it. Wish i had just returned them when i first noticed the flaws.
