A: Hello SmashAndGrab. The lower part of each grinder is a clear spices storage box. It can be unscrewed to refill with spices, then be screwed back to use.

Q: Do these come with salt and pepper? If not, are there certain types recommended by actual customers that have these? I’ve purchased a grinder in past and it didn’t work with the large pink salt I have.

A: Hello Txshopper Our products are the grinders themselves—they don't come pre-filled with salt or pepper. They are designed to work with standard 3–5mm peppercorns (the most common size for salt or black pepper). For large pink salt crystals (over 6mm), this grinder won't be suitable. If you need to grind bigger salts, we recommend looking for a dedicated rock salt mill.

My wife discovered these type of grinders existed. After she found a really expensive set that she wants after we move, she said for now to pick any that I liked that was really inexpensive and I chose this set. For the low price we didn't really have any expectations. After we washed and installed batteries we filled them up. We're both really impressed at the quality and feel. So far they work like a charm. She loves fresh cracked pepper, like really loves it! No regrets so far!

It works ok, but when you scan the QR code for the warranty, it’s only in Chinese! I think you should disclose the fact it didn’t come from Target. So I guess I don’t get a warranty? I won’t buy online unless it shows inventory in store. Also it puts out a lot of salt with just a slight tipping.

I really like these grinders, however, paperwork states that you get a lifetime warranty on them, when I use the QR code on the paperwork or type the website on my computer its states the URL is no longer available. Which means I cannot get the warranty on them. Very deceiving. I will keep them since I do like them but I still wish I could have gotten the warranty on them too.

It grinds the pepper a little coarse, but it does it in a minimal amount of time. The cup holds a decent amount of peppercorns and also coarse salt. It seems durable enough.
