For example, when Sebum and sweat combine, they can produce the discoloration seen on the necks, cuffs, and underarms of white dress shirts. The tendency to stain depends in large part on your own body chemistry, and how it interacts with various fabrics, the detergents and laundry treatments you use, and even the wash water, including hardness and temperature. The best way to avoid underarm staining related to antiperspirants is to follow the instructions on the product and to avoid overapplication. If you notice any staining, from antiperspirant or other sources, consult your laundry detergent manufacturer for advice as to the best way to remove. We hope this helps!

this deodorant does nothing for sweat. it only “tries” to cover up odor. i used to rely on the Dove Sensitive Antiperspirant, but it’s gone now, and this is the “replacement”? it gave me a rash, especially in the crease of my armpits. Turns out propylene glycol is likely the cause. if you have sensitive skin, skip this! Target really dropped the ball by removing the original antiperspirant.

Great aluminum free deodorant!! Womens need to realize that they need to adjust to this type of deodorant for it to work properly. It takes a few weeks for your body to get used to not having the dangerous aluminum. As a breast cancer survivor I recommend it to everyone!!

I don't like the slimy texture of this. It also only works for like an hour. I am already feeling "sweaty" or sticky in my armpits after sitting at my desk for an hour. It also doesn't help with odor after that same time. Going ot get something else and trash this

Really, really wanted to love this deodorant. But, unfortunately, it’s not for me. After about an hour or so I smell absolutely HORRIBLE. Like, embarrassingly so. It almost like it emphasizes BO smell, I don’t feel like I’ve smelled that bad with other brands or even other varieties of Dove. I have had to go home multiple days from work just so I can change my shirt and wash my pits, lol. I’m glad it works for some people!

I've been enjoying the dove cucumber deodorant spray, but not loving the spray aspect so I decided to try this out. It worked just fine for a couple of days and then I woke up one morning and the smell from my underarms nearly knocked me out. I washed my underarms and put on another deodorant I had and the smell went away. Tried it again the next day thinking it was just me....nope! Horrible smell came back. The deodorant itself is fine... scent is actually fairly neutral. I've had a smooth application and goes on clear. Almost looks like a solid gel. No skin irritation....but the BO it's causing is just too much. I assume it's the deodorant or my body's reaction to one of the ingredients because I have never smelled like this, even when I don't wear any deodorant.

I used this deodorant for years because it work with odor and didn't make my armpits itch or breakout. A few months' ago I purcharsed 1 and immediately noticed a change in the sticks consistency; it use to be a cross between a solid and clear, but this was just a smooth clear, which I knew by the glide on my armpits wasn't going to be the same and hold up. It DIDN'T! It has a slight burn now if I use it after the shower, and it certainly doesn't hold up to defending odor. They could have at least put somewhere the formula changed so people were aware because it's obvious that it has. I've had a hard time finding a good deodorant that holds up while not irritating my armpits, and now I have to start all over.

No longevity but Smells Great and NO RASH

I’ve used this a handful of times and there is no reaction so far which is saying a lot since I am very sensitive. Smells light and fresh which I love. I only use this deodorant at night right after showering. I then shower again in the mornings and use a heavier duty aluminum free deodorant after. This dove deodorant simply will not do the trick for all day usage. I’ve been aluminum free for years so I’m not purging. This just doesn’t keep me smelling good for more than a few hours during the day doing normal activities. I wanted an aluminum free deodorant that wouldn’t break me out while also smelling fresh and clean. I also wanted something lightweight that would wash off easily in the morning and this is perfect for those needs. If you are looking to use this as it is advertised—don’t buy it. It’s not going to last more than a few hours while awake and moving around.

It feels great and it does not leave drying products like some other ones do. With that being said it also does not last long. I have used so many different deodorant and I’m someone who usually don’t smell but boy I can smell myself with this one after like 8-10 hours where when I’m using the spray of other brands that don’t happen.
