These would be terrific to add to any of your bean soup or stew recipes. If washed and drained, they'd be a tasty addition to many salads. I decided to "put them to the test": I taste-tested them straight out of the can, without even heating them up. My conclusion? They're terrific, even without any "prep work" (assuming that you don't mind consuming unheated food). ======= Side note: Many of us live in areas that are prone to "natural disasters," such as storms, earthquakes, floods, etc. These beans would be a terrific item to keep stocked-up in one's pantry, because 1-their nutritional profile will meet many of your needs 2-there is no need for a can-opener 3-they can be eaten straight out of the can with no heating or other prep work--and they taste really good, even on their own, without being heated through. (For the same reasons, they'll also be a good item to take with you on a camping trip.)
