Marinated in water
I didn’t notice until I opened the jar that these a marinated in WATER primarily. For the same price, Vigo sells a more flavorful variety that is marinated in oil. I use these in veggie salads, and the marinade is a nice base for dressing.

Stinky stinky
I’ve never had a sweet artichoke before. The smell was so off putting and the taste was worse. I rinsed them off and am going yo try to salvage them. Worst target product I’ve had, and they are overpriced

Gross. They are slightly sweet. There’s sugar in them which I do not believe is the case with typical varieties of marinated artichokes. Skip these if you prefer a more straight-up traditional marinated artichoke.

Big soft halves, bit too strong Oregano-Parsley seasoning.
I eat a lot of artichoke hearts, I just snack on them straight out of the jar and drink the brine marinade or use it as a salad dressing with a bit of extra olive oil. So I was making an order at Target and thought I'd try these out. I will say the half sized chunks are quite large and they are very soft without any strong fibers. Flavor-wise I'm used to the more traditional mild vinegar wine and light spice in oil flavorings. These are just okay, taste is a little off with the too strong parsley/oregano seasoning, it's not super heavy but it's strong enough that you can't miss it and it sort of ruins the clean zesty refreshing taste I've come to enjoy, they almost taste a little smoky as well. Not the best I've had, I may actually rinse them off and resoak in one one of my more favorite brines. I still find that TJ's and Reese still have the best flavor profiles, very mild with little heat, but good clean distinctive taste. Will probably pass on getting these again.
