WE LOVE SLEEP
So husband and I were gifted one from the hospital, we don’t call it swaddling in my house, we call it burrito the baby. The traditional swaddle with the blanket and folding it around, gives us 1 HOUR of sleep. The halo we GET 3 hours of sleep!!!!!!!! If you miss your sleep and want baby to sleep good too, please stock up on a few of these!!!!

Best thing I could have bought for my baby. It’s a little difficult to get his arms down and wrapped but it is worth the struggle! He sleeps through the night and wakes up so happy. Would buy again when he grows out of the current size and definitely will be my go to baby shower gift.

This swaddle is just “ok”. The Velcro is very loud, my husband calls it the ezpass Velcro. I’m scared I’ll rip the baby in half taking it off. It’s also not super easy to get a nice snug swaddle with this. The various options are great (arms in, arms out, etc) but the love to dream is WAY better

Scary Experience
This material stretches out and my baby ended up burrowing down until his face was covered. Luckily I saw it happen and got him out quickly! We have other Halo swaddles and love them, but this one is awful and potentially dangerous.

Our Ideal Temp is made from a stretchier material vs. other HALO Swaddles made from cotton, fleece, etc. We recommend making sure this product fits appropriately (snug around the torso) and sizing down if between sizes. Baby loves it, but very loud velcro
My newborn loves this swaddle. I feel like we've tried every brand of swaddle stores sell and she does best with this one. It keeps her arms snug but not so tight across her chest. It gives her the snug feeling that helps her sleep without making her feel like she needs to fight out of it. My biggest complaint is the velcro, it's very strong but extremely loud. I wish we could take the 'quiet velcro' feature from other swaddles and put it on these and they would be perfect.

Not safe, newborn pushed top layer over face
My 3-week old baby was able to push the top layer of this swaddle up over her face in the middle of the night, even when velcroed across her body. This swaddle is NOT safe. So thankful we were watchful and saved her. We will never use this swaddle again.

Bad smell
Although this product did help keep my baby snug it had a horrible smell to it. I left it on the first part of the night thinking a skunk sprayed outside my house and then realized that it was actually the sleep sack. It is a weird chemical/skunky smell. Definitely don't feel safe allowing my baby to breathe that in.

Wouldnt buy again - gonna throw away
It has a strange chemical scent that won't come out with washing. It's really odd and makes me uncomfortable putting it on my newborn at night. It worked decently otherwise but like many others mentioned the Velcro was too sticky and annoying to try and get on the baby.
