Don’t have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

  • Height

    Standing with feet together and back to a wall. Measure from floor to the top of the head.

  • Chest

    Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.

  • Waist

    With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.

  • Hip

    Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

Was looking for a swaddle for my twin boys who are preemies so it was kind of hard to find something that would fit snug. These were perfect! Although they fit a little big and loose they do not rise about their chin making it unsafe for sleep. They wrap around the neck so they don’t cover their face with it at night while sleeping. I think this is a great option if you are looking for something safe for babies to sleep in and not be cold.

Great while the zipper lasts

These were the only swaddles that would contain our tiny newborn, so we loved them for a while. They made nighttime changes/feedings much simpler than blanket or Velcro swaddles. However, as our baby has grown (not yet at the 12lb limit) and we have washed these quite a few times, the zippers have worn and come apart. We stopped using these when the zipper busted open in the middle of the night, letting our baby’s arms and legs free, but trapping the swaddle around his neck. Scary to say the least, I almost had to use scissors to cut it off of him.

I have to give this one star because like others said, I have noticed that this is definitely a suffocation risk and an accident waiting to happen. I noticed the first night I used it. It’s too stretchy, and my baby was shoving the fabric into her face and fell asleep with the fabric covering her nose and mouth. I took it right off and used a regular swaddle. It’s too bad because she likes these and was sleeping pretty well in it. If it were less stretchy this would be perfect as my baby doesn’t like a super tight swaddle, but this is just way too stretchy. We need a happy medium.

My favorite swaddles! Halo swaddles were too big for NB and original swaddleme are a pain to wash with velcro and loud to wake up baby. These are so easy and has zipper guard. I've tried a few other similar styles where the zippers rub on my baby's face and ears. These don't and are just perfect for newborn phase

My baby is on the slimmer side but still within the weight requirements but she could pull her arm out of this. Is not form fitting AT ALL gave no snuggly feeling. Love to dream swaddle fit her perfect and was snug around her waist. I just think is product is for huge babies or something. Overall too stretchy.
