    joint health for large breeds

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two large breed dogs (a great pyrenees and a catahoula / black mouth cur) and the pyrenees was a VERY picky eater, while the ‘houla was a vacuum who was surrendered to me very overweight. Before Purina One, it was a struggle finding a food my Pyr would eat. Luckily, with Purina One, it was the only food that helped my ‘houla lose weight. Truly has been a saving grace for my house! :)

    Maggots in this dog food

    I’ve been buying this for years from Target. Not for the first time since 2025, I’ve purchased this only to find evidence of maggots in the dog food, which of course you only discover once you have it home, have opened the packaging and started serving it to your pet. What an amazing hassle it is to return an opened 31 lbs or larger bag of dog food (with maggots in it). What has changed? The way Target stores this product in warehouses? Is it sitting on a truck for too long, non-climate controlled? I don’t think the return desk staff even know how to communicate this to management. Product by product, I’m deciding to shop elsewhere. Poor quality and poor customer experience,

    Favorite dog food ever!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had several types of dog food through out my life of having dogs and finding this food for my Labrador almost 6 years ago was the best thing ever! This is the first food I have found out of all the foods we have tried where my dog has maintained their healthy weight without having any digestive issues and has never had a day of not liking it from day one! An added bonus is that my vet was also very happy that we were feeding him this food and said that they even feed their dogs this identical food.

    My Daniff loves it!
