I have been using a range of Neutrogena products for years. I RECENTLY pur hased the skin balancing gel cleanser. It is extremely drying to my skin, almost immediately after use and almost painful.

I LOVE THIS CLEANSER SM. It lasts so long; I used this cleanser for months before it running out since a little goes a long way. The packaging is sleek and practical so it can be pumped with ease. It's gel texture is great for purifying and softening the skin and it has polyhydroxy acid to exfoliate and cleanse deep into pores. I also like that it's gentle enough for sensitive skin because it's hypoallergenic formula respects skin's natural pH and moisture barrier.

Works well to make face feel clean. Although it's supposed to be hydrating, my skin still ends up feeling tight after use, so it's not necessarily helping with hydration. My husband and teenage daughter like it though and don't seem to mind it on their skin. Good option for those on a budget and not overly dry skin.

I never thought I'd find something for combination skin that actually works or isn't over-drying. This facewash is wonderful and doesn't over-dry my skin. I wish I knew about this product many years ago.

Very good cleanser. Help to clean my face after a long day even with sunscreen on. No scented cleanser is the best. The ingredients help yo clean the pores effectively.

I have a habit of using cleansers on my skin daily after work. I used to use Clinique cleanser but since I got this cleanser as a tryout from Sampler and it got me hooked. I like how light weight and clean my skin feels after. The fragrance is lightly scented and it foams up nicely when I apply it on my skin. The design of the pump bottle makes it easier to get enough of the formula you need each time. I like this and I will continue using this cleanser.

I really enjoy using this gel cleanser. It removes makeup OK, but cleans the skin beautifully. It provides a deep clean but it is gentle for everyday use without drying or stripping the skin. While it is not moisturizing, it helps skin keep its mositure overtime. My skin is left smooth, even toned, clean and perfectly balanced! No more oily T-zone or dry cheeks :) Effect lasts all day ! It has a nice and soft scent and a cooling effect on the skin.

I really like the way the bottle was shape and it had a nice smell. I really like the way my skin felt and look after using it. I really love the way it's not too strong and it feels really good on my face when I use in the mornings. It does a good job of the exfoliating and moisturizing my skin.
