    Not for type 4 hair

    This is not for all hair types, especially not for type 4 hair. Or at least not our type 4 hair. Not moisturizing at all. Quite the opposite. Made my daughter's hair even more dry. You could tell during the shampoo process. Thought by the conditioner and leave in portion it would feel more hydrating. Nope, nope, nope. Gave 1 star for the scent, and 1 star for the clean ingredients. Other than that it's a nope for me.

    Leaves build up

    This shampoo leaves a thick build up of residue on my hair no matter how thoroughly it’s rinsed. After giving it a few chances it’s going in the trash, disappointing since I usually have good experiences with this brand.

    Leaves heavy residue on finer textured hair

    If you have fine textured hair, I do not recommend. I was excited to try, but this shampoo left a greasy buildup and residue in my hair. I tried to rewash it out the next day with the same shampoo again, and I thought I did better with rinsing, but my hair stylist noticed the buildup right away. My old shampoo did not do this. I do not recommend.

    used to love this shampoo. i think they changed the formula because i just tried it again for the first time in a couple years and it makes my hair feel extremely greasy. thought maybe i didn’t rinse it out enough so i tried it again making sure to thoroughly rinse my hair for a few minutes and still left a greasy buildup in my hair. so sad i used to love this shampoo and it smells so good :(

    If your hair is thirsty, frizzy dry, and missing that shine do you wanna try the shampoo. The shampoo left my hair smelling amazing. The ladder was fantastic and it washed out very smoothly. I love this new shampoo.

    So disappointed, so annoyed!

    I sooo wanted this product to work and felt extremely hopeful prior to purchasing after reading all the positive reviews. I purchased the shampoo, conditioner, AND mousse. The mousse worked as intended, but the shampoo and conditioner were complete FLOPS, not to mention the pump for the condition never worked! These products worked against me: my hair became more dry as I continued to use, the shampoo never lathered enough, and the conditioner never fully absorbed into my hair. I used up each product, thinking my hair would see positive results in the last second, but no. I switched to a cheaper brand and my hair is already starting to recover. So disappointed, so annoyed. Only position: the scent is pleasant... which lasts maybe an hour post-shower. Ugh!

    Not for everyone

    It feels smooth when you put it in your hair to wash it but once you rinse it off, my hair had a different texture that I did not like. My hair doesn't stay feeling smooth afterwards but I am unsure which ingredient causes it in their product. It does smell good and is priced a little higher but it definitely isn't for all hair types.
