About this item

Highlights

  • Good Housekeeping Seal: This 500 Thread Count Cotton Sateen Sheet Set holds the Good Housekeeping Seal — trusted by millions of households across the U.S. as a step up from everyday cotton.
  • Fabric & Certification: 100% long-staple cotton sateen, independently verified for true thread count authenticity (+/- 5% variance). Every item bearing the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 label is certified as having passed safety tests for harmful substances.
  • 4-Piece Complete King Sheet Set: 1 flat sheet (112" W x 102" L) with a tailored 4" hem; 1 deep pocket fitted sheet (78" W x 80" L) with secure all-around elastic (fits mattresses 8"–16"). 2 pillowcases (21" W x 40" L) with classic side opening design. Top/Bottom labels help simplify bed making.
  • Deep pockets with all-around elastic — wrapping the full perimeter for a secure fit on memory foam, hybrid, pillow-top, and euro-top mattresses. No corner clips, no lifting, no re-tucking.
  • Feel: Lightweight-balanced cotton sateen with a silky glide and a soft, smooth hand feel — noticeably silkier than everyday sheets without the structured weight of higher counts. Gets softer and more airy with every wash.
  • Look: More pronounced sateen sheen than everyday cotton — refined and polished without being heavy or formal. A clean, bright surface that works equally well in classic and contemporary bedroom styles.
  • Durability: Tested for shrinkage, pilling and fading — built to hold its look and feel through years of regular washing. A fabric that improves, not degrades, with laundering.
  • Easy Care: Machine wash warm, tumble dry low; do not bleach. Remove promptly to help reduce wrinkles.
  • Use Cases: Ideal for primary bedrooms and guest rooms year-round — particularly well-suited for hot sleepers. Also a thoughtful housewarming or wedding gift built to last wash after wash.
  • Responsibly Made: Crafted in a family-owned manufacturing facility in India, with more than 20 years of cotton expertise — shipped in plastic-free packaging.

Description

This 500 thread count long-staple cotton sateen king size sheet set features a lightweight-balanced fabric with a silky glide and a soft, refined surface. This complete king cotton sheet set includes a flat sheet, deep pocket fitted sheet with all-around elastic, and pillowcases with side opening closure. Tested for shrinkage, pilling and fading. Machine wash warm and tumble dry low for easy care. Every item bearing the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 label is certified as having passed safety tests for harmful substances. Available in a curated palette of colors; colors may vary slightly between screen display and physical fabric. Long-staple cotton fibers help create finer yarns than many standard cotton varieties, delivering a smooth hand feel, durability, and a silky sateen glide that softens over time with regular washing. Each cotton king sheets set is independently verified for its true thread count authenticity (+/- 5% variance) — so the label matches what is on the bed. At 500 TC, the sateen glide is noticeably silkier and the sheen more refined than everyday cotton — a lightweight-balanced feel well-suited for hot sleepers and all-season use. This 500 Thread Count Cotton Sateen Sheet Set holds the Good Housekeeping Seal. The Good Housekeeping Seal is awarded only after products undergo rigorous testing by the Good Housekeeping Institute — an independent lab that evaluates quality, performance, and safety. Most of our cotton sheets are crafted in a family-owned manufacturing facility in India with more than 20 years of experience working exclusively with high-quality cotton, and responsibly made using safe production practices.

Q: Will the fitted sheet be too loose for a 5"-thick mattress?

submitted by Debbie - 1 year ago

  • A: Hi, Thank you for your question. Yes, the fitted sheet will likely be too loose for a 5-inch thick mattress. Our fitted sheets are designed to accommodate deeper mattresses, so on a thinner mattress like yours, there may be excess fabric and a loose fit. Thanks.

The sheets have garnered mixed feedback from guests, with many praising their softness and comfort, while others express disappointment regarding their durability and quality. The cotton material is appreciated for its breathability and ability to keep guests cool during warmer nights. However, some guests have reported issues with pilling and the sheets not fitting well on deeper mattresses. Overall, they offer a stylish and comfortable option for bedding.

These are for my guest beds. After washing they came out soft and pretty wrinkled. I don’t mind the wrinkles - as long as they’re comfy!
