Q: Thank you for your response. One follow-up question: Why does the fitted sheet lack a sateen finish in touch & appearance unlike the flat sheet in my set?

A: Washed them 4 or 5 times; note > must be able to wash any sheet in warm water if not hot water to properly clean; appears there's an imbedded fine cotton lint residue that may require even more washings to eliminate. Love these sheets regardless, will give them a higher rating if this turns out to be the reason why the fitted sheet does not look & feel quite like a sateen finish. Excellent strong elastic in the fitted sheet, by the way.

A: Yes, it is good to know and to let other potential customers know reading this that these beautiful quality sheets may simply need at least several washings before the sateen finish fully emerges; this is because there does appear to be a fine cotton lint fiber residue, at least that was the case with one of the sheets in the set I had purchased. A: Our sheets are mostly made in our own facility in India. However, due to Covid lockdowns, some batches were made in China last year and as inventory is mixed in warehouse, it's hard to say which country of origin you will get when you buy.

Q: Does these sheets have the extra elastic at the corners for a super hold on the mattress?

A: This has a very high grade elastic, all-around the fitted & deep pockets, which will hold on to the mattress well. This will not pop off at night. You can also review our 800 thread count, which has a special all around elastic, one with an anti-skid.

Q: After washing do the top hems of the flat top sheet and pillow cases lie flat (or wrinkle and thus need ironing)? Seems like the last several sets of sheets I have bought have that issue .

A: Our 600 thread count fabric is of good weight and this should not be the case. A general reminder: please do promptly remove the sheets at the end of washing or drying cycle to minimize overall wrinkling which is natural for a 100% pure cotton product.

When I received my package on my front porch, my package was completely opened. Very disappointed with the delivery from target overall lately. On my last order, I ordered a mirror and they ordered it completely broken and shattered on my driveway rather than actually putting it on my front porch.

We bought these in Feb. 2022 and at first I was impressed with the feel - soft to the touch but cool to sleep in. They wash/dry great without too many wrinkles and I was impressed with organic/green accreditation. This last time I washed them I noticed the top of the flat sheet was starting to separate where it's hemmed and sure enough a few nights later I went to pull the sheet up and it ripped all the way across. Just know they aren't your forever sheet.

Soft, cool sheets that don't last

We are currently on our last of three sets of these. We like to have two sets of sheets at a time, so I bought the first set and fell in love with them. They were soft, cool, and seemed to wash well, so I bought a second set a few months later even though they were pricier than sheets I'd usually buy. Maybe close to a year into our first set, the fitted sheet split on my side of the bed. I thought it was a fluke, so I bought another set to replace it. Now, about a year later, the fitted sheet from one of the newest sets tore on my spouse's side of the bed. If these sheets weren't around $100/set, the pros of the soft, cool feel might be worth replacing them every year. As it is, these are entirely too pricey to be this disposable. I used to not spend more than $50 on a set of sheets and they typically lasted years. They weren't as soft or comfortable, but I guess there are trade offs.

I purchased this same set of sheets a few years ago and loved them so I bought another set and they are not at all the same quality. The sheets are rough and I’ve been unable to see a change after multiple washes. Very disappointed given the price.
