Back & forth- same question but some "customer service" or "product specialist" will say yes it protects against bed bugs & others will say it does not. Very frustrating because the title of the product says its Waterproof, Bed Bug Proof & Polyethylene. It would be nice to get an actucal clear answer.

    zipper detached, from the factory

    About halfway through zipping this up with very light pressure, the zipper delaminated from the protector. I was super careful so it was only a few inches and I taped the hole up but this quality is honestly unacceptable. I would have returned it but I just got a brand new mattress so whatever.

    Is this waterproof? Yes. But I can’t even begin to describe how loud and crunchy it is. There’s no way anyone is getting any sleep with this on their mattress.
