Native Deodorant for Men & Women - Bergamot & Pine - Aluminum Free - 2.65oz

Very abrasive and leaves a white cast but smells amazing.

I have loved all of the Native scents so far (Ocean, Shea, Coconut, Jasmine, Rain) but this one smells a little more “musky” than I expected. It kind of smells like another deodorant on the market and it turned out to be the one my husband just started to wear recently. (Mitchell natural power) but his smells sweeter/softer which I like. If it smelled a bit softer I would give it to my husband. It just doesn’t mix well with sweat even if you’re clean.

I used this for a few weeks and really liked it, but I swear it soured or something. It went from a pleasant pine smell to an intolerable musty lime smell over time. I know bergamot is citrusy, but it smells like the pine died and the bergamot rotted. I’ve never had this happen with another Native scent and I’ve tried a lot of them.

I was a purely old spice guys as it worked! But then the itching started and I had to switch. NATIVE!! It works! But for one and a half days. lol. You cannot make it further than that! You will immediately know you need a shower! BUT IT WORKS!! No itching, no sensitivity.

I like a nice grounded smell thats is not overpowering. This will be so far my favorite scent.

I’ve been using Native deodorant for at least 4 years now. I’ve tried at least 6 different scents over the years, and this one (Bergamot and Pine) works the best for me as far as controlling body odor. My suggestion for people trying natural deodorant is to not give up on a brand if one of the scents don’t work—keep trying! I think it comes down to what works with your natural body chemistry. And as far as brands go, Native is the best clean deodorant I’ve found.

After awhile the scent of PINE overwhelmed me, and I felt like I smelled like a Christmas Tree! 😳

This deodorant is amazing and works great. I purchased for my boyfriend who has tried other aluminum free deodorants and this one works all day. I was a little hesitant to pay $13, but works better than other aluminum free deodorant. The bergamot and pine smells very good. It’s his fav!

This stuff does not work. I went in a 30 min walk on the treadmill, low intensity/incline, and after it had me smelling like sautéed onions. And for the record, I’ve been using natural and aluminum free deodorants for years. I’d try Natural thai. It actually works. Only one star for the scents.

This deodorant works really well with odor. That said, it leaves the WORST yellow stains on your shirts. Won’t buy again. Will try a natural deodorant that doesn’t contain coconut oil as that seems to be the ingredient causing the stains when in contact with sweat.

I am giving this 4 stars because it is a good deodorant- it keeps me smelling good and I like this scent. HOWEVER it leaves your armpits WHITE and let’s not talk about when you’re working out. After 20 minutes my arms were covered in white marks from the dried up sweat.

First, let me establish Native is far and away the best deodorant I've ever used! It applies clean, with hardly any residue. It doesn't stain. It is gentle to sensitive underarm skin. Many things that are ideal to have in deodorant, but frustratingly hard to find. (The specific scent I prefer is "Bergamot and Pine".) I recently began searching for an alternative deodorant only because it's hard to believe I can't find another satisfactory product for at a lower price point, because $12.99 per deodorant stick is a steep price in my opinion. Until I find something else (and if I can't find anything else) I will continue to use the Native Bergamot and Pine!

I love scents that are outdoorsy and reminiscent of men's cologne, so I love the smell of Bergamot & Pine. Admittedly, I do have some breakthrough B.O. with this on a super-hot day or after a punishing workout. But on an average day or for a low-impact workout, this deodorant works well. Sometimes I reapply later in the day.

I was in love with this deodorant at first. Unlike many others, it lasted all day, through hard and hot days. And unlike, say, Old Spice, it didn't leave blue stains on my shirts (thanks for that artificial color, Old Spice.) Nor did it irritate my pits, as sometimes happens from other brands. But I had two issues. The first is that this size seems to last about 5 or so weeks for me. Maybe 6. Seems expensive. $2/week vs $0.50 or less? Makes deodorant start to be a luxury, and do I want it to be a luxury? I decided yes, I did, but understand if others disagree. This felt worth it. The bigger issue is the musty odor after washing clothing. I noticed it early on, but I just moved and assumed that it was a shirt I hadn't worn in a while. But I just put on a shirt fresh from the dryer. Smells musty. I panicked and wondered what was wrong with our dryer or laundry room. Then realized it was just the shirts. Then I remembered the review here where someone else complained about the same thing. So, sorry, Native. Love the woodsy scent. Love the performance. Love the gentleness. But a deodorant shouldn't leave me smelling musty, and this absolutely did. It's unpleasant, and I really hope it washes out. I was ok with $2/week, but I'll be angry if the true cost of this deodorant is having to replace a dozen t-shirts

This has made every piece of clothing we own, that was washed with anything that was touched by this, smell terrible. We can’t a get the musty smell out of our clothes. This is even after many vinegar soaks and scent beads and detergent and fabric softener. Literally all of our clothes smell awful and I don’t know what to do. Didn’t happen with the Lavender Rose one at all but I loved that one so much, my husband tried this scent. Big mistake! Will not use any of these products again due to this.

Easy to apply, smells good, prevents BO and doesn’t have any ingredients that causes allergic reaction. Tried many other ‘natural deodorants’ , they all left a reaction on my son. This one hasn’t and is doing everything deodorant should do.

My favorite things about Native brand deodorants are that: 1) they’re longer lasting than other “natual” deodorants and 2) no irritation if you have sensitive underarm skin. A little pricy, but their scents are also unique and creative.

I was so sweaty, I never wore gray shirts and I would have pit stains in any shirt 20 min into a sunny day. I was skeptical about native but after using it for 2 weeks I noticed no more pit stains!! It’s actually that good!! I still sweat but not as much and no visible stains, I am honestly so surprised. If you are a anxious super sweater like me and need a good deodorant, BUY native!!

I have tried many Native deodorant scents and even have a monthly subscription with Native. I really like this one in addition to a few others. I have been using Native for years.

This scent recalls a strong memory of fresh cat litter. Just can’t do it.
