Pretty, but not functional

Beautiful to look at, but the handle gets too hot to pick the kettle up. You need to flip open the cover on the spot manually when you pour the water out. Very poorly designed. Will be returning.

Get what you pay for

After less that two moths of use the folded stainless steel, used as a spring to keep the whistle cover raised over the spout, popped out of its enclosure. I could not refit it. Additionaly the metal used for the kettle is of a light gauge and discolors rather easily. I use a kettle multiple times in a day and expected this one to last longer even though the price was attractive.

Nice design

Nice appearance. The bottom is heavy. I like that it is taller than the last kettle I had. I think that is better for our new gas cooktop.
