52" Casa Vieja Modern Indoor Ceiling Fan with Light LED Brushed Nickel Carved Wood for Bedroom Kitchen Living Room Family Dining

Cosmetically, I think this fan should get 5 stars -- really beautiful. But it has some drawbacks. First, above the 2nd speed I think it's relatively noisy. We have 6 other ceiling fans in our house made by 3 different manufacturers, and this fan is by far the noisiest, unless you keep it on the 1st or 2nd speed. Secondly, balancing this fan can be problematic. It really needs balancing with only 3 real wood blades, it is going to be significantly out of balance above the lowest speed. But unless you have the fan mounted pretty high, say least 8 feet off the floor, the tops of the blades are visible and so the black-ish balancing weights are pretty conspicuous, especially given how much you've just paid to get these beautiful real wood blades. Third, the light, which can get very bright (a plus IMO), casts a very white light -- kind of unpleasant. Finally, a minor problem, but the battery they shipped with the remote had some kind of crud on one end so that the remote didn't work at all to begin with. It took me a while to figure out what was wrong and clean off the crud. All in all, I'd say unless you just have to have this fan, look elsewhere. There are numerous competing fans that look pretty similar.

This is such a beautiful addition to my bedroom. We have always just had lamps in our room and I wanted a ceiling light. Thought a fan would be nice to have. Now I don't know how I ever lived without it! Love the remote with an option to have the fan on a timer. Super silent and just really sleek design.

basic fan, nothing special. nice appearance with decent amount of air flow.. Remote is very cheaply made but works .... it has an awkward battery, not a standard AA or AAA. On sale at $399, fan might be worth it, but definitely not worth $499. There are many other fans available at a lower price than $500 that will fill the same gap as this fan.

This fan is absolutely beautiful and it's energy efficient. It added a nice warm but modern touch to our bedroom. Matched the wood of our furniture perfectly. Installation was very easy.

This fan is just stunning! Simple, sleek, warm, beautiful. It is quiet and provides plenty of air movement to keep everyone cool in the hot summer. I hired an electrician to install it because I have 18-foot ceilings, but the directions were clear. It looks just as beautiful looking down on it from above on the third floor, and I love that the remote makes it possible to reverse the fan for winter as I was unable to reach the switch on my previous fan. Hooray for good design!

I am a reluctant ceiling fan owner - I have no choice for the second story of an older home in a hot climate. I chose this fan to make what I didn't want as pleasant as possible. It worked. It's sleek pretty, quiet, stylish, effectively moves a lot of air, and looks great in the room. 4 stars not 5 as I really believe it is just a little pricey compared to others. If it were 399 or 449 even I'd be happy with purchase and feel like I got a good deal.
