Fun! Long lasting pretend makeup kit
This is such a cute pretend makeup set. It's good quality with a combination of plastic and wood. I will say some of the blush parts. The lid tends to fall off pretty easily if they open it too hard, but they do put back on pretty easily. My daughter likes the brushes and that they're actual brushes and she feels like she can actually practice doing makeup. She wanted a real set but she's only five so I didn't want to do that. I love the case that the makeup is in and it seems like it will last a long time.

Not up to the brands tyoical standards
This is the only Melissa and Doug toy we’ve been disappointed in. Almost every piece broke on this. The compact/makeup covers broke off, the shelf inside the carrier case broke off. Definitely not up to their usual standard on this one! I’d pass on this set!

Cheaply made
Really surprised with this cheaply made Melissa & Doug makeup kit. The cover on one of the items keeps coming off when opened, and the inside hinges supporting the tray come right out of the grooves. The lock tab is hard to get to as its right in between the handle.

Low quality makeup box
The tray inside the makeup box constantly comes unlatched and doesn’t stay in place the way it should. It has to be relatched every time the box is opened and closed. Cute concept but the make box is low quality.

Not happy with product
I was very disappointed with this Melissa & Doug toy. Missing a top to one of the lipsticks. Tops keep falling off the several of the makeup compacts. The container doesn’t close properly & I have had to fix it numerous times. It is super cute but I would not recommend buying this due to it being cheaply made.
