Hinkley Shelter 20 1/2" High Black LED Outdoor Wall Light

I have a white brick house and this fixture looked empty and weird when installed. I tried two fixes and ultimately like both of them: 1) a T10 XL 2700 bulb that is about 11 inches long with a white filament. 2) Philips Hue GU10 using an adapter for the E14 socket. Option 1 looks better in the daytime. Option 2 looks super cool at night considering the white bricks and all. I use my fixtures as ambiance, not security, so 60W is way too bright. I had to add a dimmer for the 60W bulbs and dim the GU10s by using the Philips app. I'm docking one star because you have to take the fixture apart to replace the bulb, risking breaking the glass and/or losing tiny parts. I had a problem during the install of one of my fixtures where one of the bottom screws was tightened too much at the factory and wouldn't budge. In the process of attempting to squirm the glass into the fixture, one of the rubber bumpers that the glass rests on popped off into my mulch bed, making the fixture less than able. I returned it. I did exchange for another though because it looks pretty cool. I will contact Hinkley to see if I can get a bunch of spare parts to replace the ones that I'm sure that I will litter around my property over the coming years.

Modern, Beautiful, esthetic, stands out in the crowd, vibrant light

Very well made. Modern and stylish. Fairly easy to install if you're DIYing. We put two of these on the front of our garage. It's designed to take regular bulbs that hide in the collar in the top, but it also looks good with T-10 bulbs.

Very good & very beautiful

I purchased two of these larger lights to go with three smaller ones for the back deck area. They look lovely, provide soft light and helped to modernize the home.

I would most definitely recommend this item. It has very neat and contemporary look that just awesome on my house!
