Chicken Caesar Salad Bowl - 6.5oz - Good & Gather™

as cheap and easy as these are they're my go to for quick lunches, but I've unfortunately noticed a massive drop in quality over the past half a year-ish that's been leading to a lot of issues. 1) the lettuce is often bad or obviously starting to rot/grow old. since it's all mashed into a tiny bowl it's hard to "check" the lettuce from the outside. sometimes it looks fine then you open it and realize half the lettuce is inedible. 2) when the lettuce is actually fresh (which isn't often) that bowl will typically have these **massive** chunks of the white part of the lettuce (for those who don't know, the white part is by far the most bitter part) which still impacts the taste and texture 3) the dressing has most certainly changed recently, I hate when companies make undisclosed hidden subtle changes to their products because 9 times out of 10 it's some scummy way for them to cut corners by reducing the quality of the product. in this case the dressing is an obviously different shade than it was before, is more salty tasting than it used to be, and there appears to be a little less of it in each bowl. it's worth noting that target brand products as a **whole** have been dropping in quality as the greedy corporation continuously cuts corners. from leaking target brand air fresheners, to target brand mayo with fully separated oil, to target brand cheeses getting the "shrinkflation" treatment down about a few oz's the target brand products that **aren't** dropping in quality are being removed from the shelves entirely, like the target brand drink mixes being cut in half to make room for expensive name brand ones, and target brand chips being removed from shelves to make room for expensive name brand ones. that being said, im hesitant to claim this is an issue with grocery staff not rotating properly, and is far more likely an issue on the corporate level. not that target as a company cares enough about customers to fix any of these issues, I mean they've been getting bad reviews about their target brand olive cans rotting over for 5+ YEARS and they STILL haven't even addressed that one single issue despite it obviously being a problem in the factory packing itself. tldr: I wish I could give these a better review, but target as a company doesn't care enough to ensure quality in their store brands not easy access to them

This is a good size snack and tasty! Chicken cheese croutons dressing are individually packaged and a fork is provided inside the container. The portion is not big enough for lunch so I suggest having this as part of your lunch.

You are taking your chance to get this product unexpired or without a lot of bad lettuce. This time it's one day away from expiration. The pictures tell it all. It just does not seem that hard to look at the product when employees are choosing it for a drive-up customer.

I love these salads they're always fresh but today it was warm and the top is puffing out. I think they didn't refrigerate it after they picked it off the shelf and I didn't say I'm on my way and take a long time?

I purchased two chicken Caesar salad, salads and paid for two When I got home, I only had one in my bag so please credit the other one as I don’t have the strength to drive back there today. Thank you.

I like the amount of it protein it has. But I think a spoon would be more better than a fork.

These are great when freshly made. sometimes, the lettuce has already turned brown. it's a hit ot miss. we add avocado and strawberries and they are delicious!

I get these for my mom and she really likes them. The only issue is that it seems like they're always really close to the expiration date.
