Description

2 piece wireless meat thermometer set includes a base unit and a remote unit that works up to 490 feet away. Complete temperatute and cooking information are shown on BOTH units. Monitor the grill temperature and the meat temperature, or monitor the temperature of 2 separate meats. Wide temperature range and super-high accuracy makes this two channel meat thermometer perfect for smoking or roasting any kind of meat, chicken or pork. Cooking temperatures and alarms are fully programmable, or you can use the built-in temperature function pre-set for 8 types of meat and 5 USDA-approved safe temperature. The high definition LCD displays are also back-lit for easy reading at night. Four 6" long needle-tip probes are included, made from durable stainless steel with 49" long braided steel leads. Uses 4 AA batteries. Works with any charcoal grill, gas grills, smoker or oven.

    Handy gadget

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great! This has really upped my BBQ game and I couldn't be happier. The whole system was really easy to set up and use. The directions are nice and clear too. The remote feature is my absolute favorite part and I really appreciate not having to go to the BBQ to check temps every time.

The menu/ options, while initially appearing a bit "busy" and intimidating, are easy to use. There's an alarm that sounds when the meat is at the temp you specify. I really like that there are pre-programmed meats already in the thermometer for 8 different types of meat that you can use or you can program it yourself specifically for the type of meat you are cooking. It has a wide termperature range and with 4 probes you can do 4 separate meats at the same time. It even has alarms that you can set to alert you when the food has reached temperature. The LCD display is really easy to read, even in direct sunlight and the stainless steel probes are simple to clean. This is just a really nice addition to grilling!

We have a 4- probe wireless meat thermometer with a remote and it is great. At first glance it looks like they will be hard to operate but the menu/ options are very user friendly, you can select the kind of meat you are going to cook (beef, chicken, burger, pork, fish) and the taste you want (well done, medium well…). The alarm that will sound when the meat is ready. We used it to cook very thick meat for burgers and their taste was perfect. Very handy tool.

    Great for getting that perfect medium rare steak

    Great meat thermometer

It can check the temperature of up to 4 things at once so it is easy to multitask.. It helps you make sure your meat is cooked but not overcooked. It is great and I would recommend it.
