Jade shower rings

These are snapping shower rings. They do not “snap”. They break if you try to close them. The shower curtain will not stay due to them not closing as they should.

Fragile as spun glass

Listen, I don't expect these to last 20 years. They're cheap, plastic shower curtain rings. What I would expect is that they'd last through installation. Two of the twelve broke during installation. I've done this before, I'm not installing them with a hammer. They require a certain amount of force to stretch around the rod and then snap into place. When they can't stand up to that, I'd say that's a failure of the product. The remaining 10 survived installation and slide well enough, so I'm not giving them a 1 star.
