Q: So I didn't see any dairy in the ingredients & there are no allergens listed so why isn't this considered "dairy free"?

As someone who has easily purchased 200 or more of these boxes (and yes I mean boxes) in the past YEAR, I am highly disappointed in the changes made. The bars are smaller. Less fiber. And taste horrible. I don’t know who they hired to compare tastes with, but they made a horrible mistake. I know there were quality control issues with these bars (being rock hard due to bad sealing), but that could have been fixed than whatever this is. These were my comfort bars as someone with many food allergies and ARFID/Autism. I sobbed after finding out the recipe change. I will now be taking my business to MadeGood to supply my granola bar needs.

Naaaasssty! My kids loved these but they have changed the recipe, now they won’t touch em. Oh well they still love the made good granola balls they are also gluten free. So if you don’t like the new formula give those a try.

Lost nutritibal value, flavor bad, texture off!
So disappointed in the recent changes! Do not like these new changes!! Annie’s changed the look, packaging, recipe and nutritional value on these bars. My kids and I have loved these bars since probably 2016 and would buy religiously every week…. But they recently changed the ENTIRE product! Packaging is off - the box now looks like the non-gluten free bar’s box, making them hard to differentiate between the two. The wrapper is noticeably “thin” per my kids own words. And worse, the bars themselves now have a worse texture and flavor, and less fiber!!! The old ones use to have 2-3 grams of fiber in them (don’t recall exactly) - which was my main reason for selecting them as an easy source of fiber for the kids and I. But now these have 1 gram, which is equivalent to all the cheap brands that are just filler snacks. It seems like they now use less oatmeal in making these, as the formed consistent texture with obviously visible oatmeal, is now just a mushier, crisped rice with rice syrup texture with small traces of visible oatmeal. I wish I had a picture to show the comparison! I don’t know if the sugar content has increased, but the balance for sweetness is off for us also. We tossed them and will not buy again. We’ve already found a replacement brand for now that has some nutritional value, but would totally switch back if the company brings the old recipe back.

My kids and I used to love these, but it seems the beloved blue box is now a purple box with different shaped bars and new wrappers - like Annie’s changed manufacturers. The frustrating thing is the texture is off and there’s a chemical-like taste that makes the new version unpalatable for my family. The new version also has 10 more calories, but is the same volume, just shaped differently. *Old version bar on top, new on bottom
