Description

Cocokind's Ceramide Barrier Serum is specifically formulated with 5 types of ceramides and lipids that mimic and support skin’s natural barrier, helping skin recognize them more easily, this optimized serum nourishes and replenishes for healthy-looking skin. Ceramides, which are integral to skin barrier structure, are paired with complementary lipids, allowing them to be easily recognized and absorbed, along with ceramide precursors to promote skin’s natural ceramide production. Together they help reduce moisture loss and defend against external aggressors. Fatty acids add extra skin barrier support, while lactic acid gently renews skin helping ingredients sink in more easily. This serum helps reset and defend skin daily, making it ideal for all skin types and concerns.

Packaging uses plastic alternative such as FSC-certified paper, aluminum, steel, or glass with great potential to be widely circular for majority of product packaging. At least 50% of the packaging must use an alternative to plastic to qualify for this pillar.

    No go for sensitive skin

    For something that is a supposed to support and help the barrier, it did the exact opposite for me and instantly gave me a red burn/ rash all over my face. I had to wash everything off with cool water and hope all my hard work building my barrier up didn’t just go down the drain. Disappointed in this and that it was fist experience with a Cocokind product. I’ll be returning.

    Sensitive Skin? Don't Buy!

    Been a loyal Cocokind user for the past 8 or 9 years because their products are generally safe for my acne-prone, sensitive, combination skin. I added this product to my rotation to improve my moisture barrier. When I began experiencing dryness, burning and an unusual breakout I thought for sure something else was the cause. Nope! Turns out this was the culprit! So surprised and disappointed. Will be returning!

    Terrible.. I started reusing my retinol a couple weeks ago and had some flakiness so I got these to help my skin but as soon as I put it on my face it stung so bad and immediately got so red. I had to wash it off and cool my face down. The smell is also not very pleasant.

    Adverse Effect

    I was really hoping to like this product given its aim of nourishing the skin barrier and reducing irritation. However, I think it did quite the opposite for me :( a few minutes after having it on I noticed my skin starting to feel warm and burn. Then when I looked in the mirror I had red patches and notable irritation on my face. Unfortunately I would not recommend this one to people with sensitive skin.

    Staple in my routine!

    This serum is like a bodyguard for your skin it just shows up and does its job without drama. I slathered it on, and suddenly my skin was like, œOh hi, hydration! Where have you been all my life? Its lightweight but somehow also thick-in-a-good-way, like a protective little hug for my face. Ive been using it morning and night, and my skin feels calmer than I do after a nap. No irritation, no flakiness, just peace. Smells neutral (hallelujah), plays nice with makeup, and didnt make my face revolt 10/10 would recommend if you want your skin to stop complaining and start chilling. If ceramides had a personality, this would be the chill friend who always brings snacks and never cancels plans.

    Painfully Disappointed

    I was extremely excited to try the Cocokind Ceramide Barrier Serum after seeing that it was approved by the National Eczema Association. As someone who has struggled with eczema for many years, finding skincare products that are both effective and gentle enough for my skin has been extremely challenging. Because of this endorsement and positive reviews online, I felt confident purchasing this product. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Upon application, the serum immediately caused a strong burning sensation on my face. Shortly after, it triggered a painful eczema flare-up, making my skin significantly more irritated and uncomfortable.

    Lovely feel good serum

    Does what is says it does!

    I absolutely love this serum. My face has been so happy with that I won travel without it. I know when I apply it my face will glow and you always want wherever you go! When my face breaks out during my menstrual cycle I can certainly say it does calm down the irritation and during the worst hormonal acne.

    Burned my skin BADLY

    Ive never had a product burn my skin so much within seconds of application. By the time I washed it off my skin was bright red and hot like a terrible sunburn. From the reviews I see Im not the only one with this experience. My skin usually loves ceramides so Im not sure what ingredient in this serum could cause such a dramatic reaction.

    Not Greasy!

    My friend recommended me to try the Cocokind products and all I can say is WOW! My skin feels absolutely amazing and looks so much better. I have extremely sensitive skin, and these products don irritate me at all! This Serum goes on so smooth and doesn leave my face feeling greasy!
