Q: Is this safe to use if you have rosacea?

A: Not a doctor but a rosacea sufferer, also. What bothers one person’s skin could be tolerated extremely well by the next. That being said, I think it’s a very well formulated vitamin C and Dr. Sam Ellis (the creator of Prequel) has rosacea, too.

Mother This is my third bottle of Lucent-C. I’ve used a brand that’s known for the vitamin c feuric acid for years and so costly. Prequels Lucent-C is the same quality and o won’t got back to the other. I will continue to use this for now on.

My face had a bad reaction. My face burned and turned bright red and hot a little while after applying it. Lasted an entire day and my skin barrier is messed up now. Won't be using again. I'll have to find another vitamin C that's better suited for sensitive skin.

Having bought from Prequel direct, I know it starts nearly clear and doesn’t start getting that telltale orange color towards the end of the bottle. I have sensitive skin and I haven’t had any reactions AB’s have used multiple bottles. Unfortunately whenever I buy this product from Target, it’s immediately very oxidized. Another issue I only have when I buy this from Target is that the pressure in the bottle is so high that every pump basically explodes from the bottle with such force it splatters everywhere, and it’s about 3-4 pumps worth of product when you probably only need 1-2 pumps.

I am enjoying this product more because of its elegant formula and diminished “hot dog water” scent. My skin just absorbs it like a dream. I am about to open my second bottle. I am getting great results!

I was looking to switch up my vitamin C serum when I came across Prequel products. Purchased my first bottle of vitamin C serum and it took a couple weeks, but I noticed a huge difference. My face seems a lot brighter and smoother and just overall great appearance. I was extremely excited about this product and I am currently on my second bottle. I am loving it! In my opinion, it compares to the very high-end one, but at an affordable price.

I bought two bottles. The first was good but the second bottle had white precipitation on the outside of the jar. It was a chalky texture and seemed like a formulation issue. I would not put it on my face. I appreciate the company gave me back my money.

I just want to say this is my first ever vitamin c skincare product. I'm 41 and late in the game by far! However I was so scared with all the horror stories of being sensitive to vit c and all the other products out there. I have sensitive skin. I put this on and my face loved it! I love putting this serum on every morning. It makes my face glow. I don't care if it smells like your "hotdog water" as I hear all the good ones smell like that plus this is very faint and it goes away. Also the first time I put this on, I didn't realize so much came out with one pump. I know I put too much on my face the first time and it was super sticky. After I the first time though I was cautious of pumping out the product and now I put on just the right amount. If you do, it won't be sticky or at least it will quickly go away. So don't make that mistake and then hate the product. This is my first but c purchase and I plan on sticking with it. You cannot beat this price either! Forever my vitamin c!

I love the price point of this product and made it available to all. Most people think it needs to cost more to be affective and that is far from the truth. So much science goes behind the formulation and the delivery so your skin will absorb the products. You and your team (takes a team to develop this type of product including sunscreen) did a fabulous job. I love that the consistency on all products is thin and that you explain all the products in a video yourself. I see the doctor come through in your video and the products. I have been a cosmologists for a while and have made my far share of mistakes buying fancy cute products that do nothing because I was unaware. Thank you for the wonderful products. I may have found my go to skin fix as I have oily dehydrated mature skin and I am using tret so I have a lot of juggling to do. I can see the products being marketed as a solution for skin rather than a gimmick to sell and I appreciate this.
