this is super useful for my infant as well for my kids aged 4 & 7. any mess wipes right off and folds so easily and compact.

Easy to wipe and fold up. Our previous 5x7 blanket was getting too small for all of us to fit. Upgraded to the biggest size and everyone fits comfortably with picnic basket and all. It’s also long enough that I could lay on it outstretched on the beach. Very durable. We love these better than fabric blankets. Keeps the wet grass from soaking through and the beach sand shakes right off. And if we want to make it cozier in the evening we can add a quilt or blanket on top.

Super convenient and easy to use. The material that you sit on isn’t super cozy, especially if it’s a chilly out. But I could see layering another blanket on top for added coziness. The slippery top layer does seem great for my toddler and his tendency to walk on blankets with shoes. So the convenience of that probably outweighs the coziness. Folding and unfolding is a breeze. Already used it several times in very early New England spring on damp ground. Exactly what I was looking for. And the way it packs up and is so easy to carry is a major win!

Got this for my friend's baby gift, as we have one and she talks about it all the time. Can't go wrong with any of the prints - I've seen a few in person and they are all gorgeous. If you are deciding on what size to get, GET THE BIG ONE. Seriously, don't think twice. The big one is great for your own family, plus some toys or snacks laid out. It is also great for a friend to join. It folds up super small, so I really don't see any reason why to get anything smaller :)
