Buylateral 2 Drawer Dixie Filing Cabinet

The assembly was a bit more complicated than I anticipated, but overall wasn’t bad. It looks great in my space and has plenty of room to keep my important papers organized.

Didn’t include all the parts. I am missing a screw in package A.

Took me about 2 hours to put together but I love it. It’s heavy and sturdy.

In love with this color and the gold hardware!! I was able to put this together myself I'm just over an hour. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. All hardware was included and all the holes lined up perfectly. No pieces came damaged or scratched. I absolutely love this cabinet in my office now and holds all my clutter and folders. 100% recommend. It's beautiful, solid, and sturdy.

Exactly what I was looking for! I needed a file cabinet that holds a lot of files, but also that looks nice in my bedroom home office. The color match my other furniture perfectly. It is very solid/sturdy, with good quality materials. It was pretty easy to put together as well. Definitely recommend!

Item arrived without any instructions. Had to find the instructions online and even then, instructions were not 100% accurate. It took my husband and I three days to put it together. Even throughout this process, it was very difficult to figure out how to assemble this unit, because even with the instructions online, they were not complete. For example, the drawers did not have instructions to place the bottom part before putting it all together, all four sides. Another issue was that a couple of the boards would nicked or chipped. I also received from drawer part with an extra drop of paint or lacquer. No labels for drawers were included. Finally, the bottom part of one of the drawers does not fully close all the way, making a very weak for anything too heavy to be placed inside it. I contacted Target to get a discount because we did not want to have to return it to the store, nor having to get put another nightmare together, and I was only given the option of returning it to the store. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told that was not an option. Save your money and yourself a big headache with little to no support.

Cabinet is beautiful and color is exactly as pictured. Cabinet was not difficult to put together if you are handy. My biggest complaint is there is no hardware or rails on the inside of drawers to hang files. Will now have to look for hardware or another solution to adapt for hanging files which means more money. This was nowhere in the item description. There are notches in the drawers, so either it is missing or not included. Either way it makes the cabinet useless for hanging files. Otherwise would have been 5 stars.

Simply adorable!!!! So incredibly cute and stylish but it came in soooo many pieces to put together! I'm so glad my husband was home for this one because it took several hours and lots of focus and organization! Once it was together though it was so cute and i just love it!!!

While I’m sure the description said the material, I was a little surprised to see it’s made of composite wood. Ideally for longevity and overall quality I would have preferred metal. Two main flaws to point out. 1) It came with several scratches and discoloration of paint and 2) On of the pieces did not have the proper holes cut to align with the screws and dowels. My husband is handy enough to cut that hole himself, but not everyone would have that ability. It also does take well over an hour to assemble. I do like the color and the brass hardware is nice. Don’t pay full price though, not worth it.

While it’s an adorable item, it’s too narrow takes way too long to assemble. I wouldn’t recommend unless your only concern is looks. Also comes damaged

The color is not accurate, more of a mauve color. Also, the assembly instructions booklet is missing pages in both cabinets I ordered, so it’s taken forever to assemble them.

The item arrived damaged. It is out of stock and cannot be replaced. Some detailed pictures in the instruction manual cause a little bit of confusion. The supports, at the bottom of the drawers, are very thin and do not seem to be ideal for holding anything other than hanging files. Aside from that, I imagine it’ll fulfill its only purpose of holding files. Likely, it won’t last long. In my opinion, it’s not worth the price and I do not recommend!
