I bought this puppy food when I was weaning my puppies from mush to regular puppy good. I tried other more expensive brands but they got the runs. I tried this and they love it! The food pebbles are flat, not round and they just love it!

We had our puppy on this food for the first year or his life, he did fine, no issues at all! The last bag we bought was a bag that was 2 months from expiring, so we thought it would be fine, but our pup started having really bad gas and diarrhea and it was constant. Every single day. He never had a solid poop in the last month of using this food. We switched over to another brand altogether because of how sick it made him.

I was very skeptical because about purchasing this food but I’m so glad I did. I have a 4mo rescue who was taken too early from her mom and although the person meant well, did not feed her enough and wasn’t using puppy formulas. Her growth was stunted and her legs weren’t growing with her body like they should have been. She was bloated, skin flaked, coat dull, and she stunk to high heavens. After only 2.5 weeks of this food the difference is amazing! She doesn’t stink, her bloat and tummy troubles are gone, her growth plates kicked in and is starting to show steady growth where she needs it. I don’t even have to supplement with vitamins because it already has what she needs. She’s so happy and healthy I’m completely amazed. I hope they never touch the formula, it’s perfect as it is. Switch over was easy, she loved it and it didn’t cause her any digestive issues. I also use the Kindfull Puppy wet food mixed to make sure she gets some hydration when she eats.

Good on the wallet horrible for the puppy! My little guy was eating a chicken and rice formula when I brought him home so I figured we would try and transition to this. He’s been so sick with the poops and it’s not sitting well at all. Going back to purina which is what he was eating. Never again!

After day one, he had frequent diarrhea and fatigue. I wasn’t sure what was going on at first and the only change was the dog food. When I went back to my original, he got better by the next 2 days. I wish I had figured it out sooner because he was sick for a total of a week.

If I could give it a zero star I would. There was worms and bugs coming out of the food! It’s disgusting! I didn’t realize it but I have a video of them moving in the kibble. I’m definitely returning.

From months 5 to 8 I was feeding my golden retriever puppy this brand of food and for so long he was having consistent, diarrhea with horrible gas. I changed everything in his daily routine other than his diet. The moment I switched over to Purina pro plan for puppies I saw an immediate change within his stomach and his gas. I would highly recommend if you are experiencing stomach issues with your puppy while feeding this brand to them consider making a change. It broke my heart that the first couple months of having him I was making his stomach hurt so bad and I never got down to the root of the cause until later on. Passing this on to all the puppy parents.
