Q: Are the seat cushion covers removable for washing?

A: Pillows are! With 3kids it would be a disaster after a month of using, but the fact they are removable makes life easier. You just need to wipe the arms when needed.

Q: What's the weight limit?

A: 250lb according to the tags. However- guys- this chair does not wear well. If you plan to have someone who is right at the weight limit as the primary user you will be disappointed in this product. The cushion will sag in the center and flatten out. It’s an already overly firm cushion to begin with. Why can’t studio mcgee put all that money to good use and pay someone to design nice chairs ?

I think the “sits like a park bench comment” is dead on. This chair is not as comfortable as they make it sound in the description deccand it’s very Uncomfortable and cheaply feeling. If you want to waste a couple hundred bucks on this chair -Studio McGee/Target would love your money. I mean, let’s pad their pockets even more - it’s more padding than this chair has. lol The fabric doesn’t wear well if you intend to sit in the chair daily. It’s the oddest beige hue that seems to clash with every other beige item we own.

Love this chair, we ended up getting another one. I was looking for something you could curl up in for hours reading/working and this is it. Also, love that it doesn’t have a prop65 warning on it. The cushions dimple a bit after a while but it’s not bad considering how comfy it is.

This chair is attractive - modern, clean lines and nice neutral tones but the quality is absolutely awful. I’ve had the chair for approximately 10 months and the fabric looks like I’ve had it for 10+ years. I sit in the chair to read, usually around an hour a day, our dog is not allowed on furniture and my children are all grown and the seat of the chair is frayed and pilled so much so that the faint herringbone pattern of the fabric has completely disappeared. I realize this isnt considered “quality” furniture but there is no excuse for this type of wear to a little used piece of furniture that’s less than a year old. Save your money and purchase a better quality chair if you plan on using this piece at all.

Comfortable and classy! I ended up staining the bottom wood trim to match my table and floor. I used minwax Ebony and put 2-3 coats on. I love chairs with armrests and these are high which I like. I am obsessed with this chair and am thinking of getting another for the other corner!

I love these chairs. I read so many reviews and was nervous purchasing because I have multiple 6+ foot teenage boys who are rough on furniture. They break so many things (unintentionally!) from their size and quick movements. These chairs have held up to them without issue. They are solid, were a breeze to put together, and are just great. I love the neutral color pallet and the solid construction of them. Would buy more if I had any space left!
