I am so disappointed with this product. I am regreting that I decided to keep it. When it arrived I thought it was beautiful but I noticed that the woven part is extremely prickily but the size was great and I really wanted to like it so I decided to keep it. I bought this bench a few months ago for my bedroom to use for extra seating and to put a cover from my bed at night. The weave on the bench is made so poorly that it catches on my clothes if I sit or just put smth on it. I own several woven chairs and none of them catch my clothes. I understand it is a natural material and it might have some imperfections but this weave has very sharp and hard splinters. I can’t use this bench in fear of damaging my clothes. It is purely decorative. Thus I would not recommend it if you are planning to use it.

We added this to the bottom of our king bed to put shoes on, and put the pillows on at night. It is a great size and looks so much more expensive than it is. I'm not sure how it would hold up with a lot of sitting / use, but for minimal use it is perfect.

Buy the bench! This is the perfect bench for our small nook. Easy to put together and looks more expensive than it was. This bench serves as low profile extra seating next to our fireplace where the TV is mounted. Bonus feature was I attached and concealed our TV cords/cables under the seat! Tip: use a ratcheting screwdriver. The holes are small but with this tool it’s easy to assemble. Also, use a soft mallet to put wood pegs in.

I probably should've listened to the other reviews regarding the Studio McGee furniture.. I'll start by saying this is a cute bench but there are some problems. As others mentioned, the drill holes aren't big enough. I guess I assumed I'd be an exception but they were too small and I don't own a drill- nor do I feel as though for the price I should have to drill into the new furniture. Additionally, a bolt was missing and customer service never picked up, nor did they return my voicemail. There was also a strange stain on the bench pillow. Lastly, the bench wasn't even deep enough for the smaller lumbar pillow I ordered (located in the same picture on the hearth behind the pup). I was also unable to reach target customer service online.
