Great Stool for the price
Had to put it together, which was simple. I couldn\'t believe how light weight it was and the base has a non skid rubber grip. Not only does it look good, it rotates 360°, has a foot rest and the seat is very firm. I cook from scratch, so chopping things up to do a meal prep takes time and wears on your feet and back, but not with this stool and it raises higher than I initially needed. Good purchase for the price.

Amazing stool
I have never given a more immediate 5 star review. This stool is exceptionally made, the craftsmanship apparent, super comfortable and looks wonderful. I hadn\'t even tracked that it has a a hydraulic gas lift in its center post, so when you sit, it softens down a few inches to be more comfortable. There is a lot of junk out there, stools made for as cheap as possible. This is worth the price. I can tell it will last many, many years. Oh, ps. It took a long time to be delivered, but that is often the case with well crafted items.

Stool for the kitchen.
I am unable to stand for long so this chair has given me the opportunity to cook and prepare food for meals by being able to comfortably reach the counter top. It's comfortable to sit on and sturdy to remain in one place yet easy enough to slide around to another place without tripping over it.

We like that when we spot a bird from inside our loft that's adjacent to our balcony, we can glide right over, slide onto the swivel seat, and press a knob to adjust our eye to see into the monocular mounted on the balcony railing. We appreciate the adjustable height of the classy chrome base, and the faux leather swivel seat. Such style and grace, this chair. It wasn't all that difficult for a senior citizen to assemble either.

Using for pottery wheel standing perch
Needed a bench for partly standing at a raised pottery wheel to compensate for disability of the back.. Surprised that this has worked out really well! Lots of expensive stools out there claiming to be for that purpose but this was much less expensive and has been a really nice stool for the occassional use I needed it for. Its very lightweight too, easy to move for other uses and easy to raise and lower. So glad i took a risk and bought it.

Made working in my kitchen possible.
I find this meets my needs perfectly. It is adjustable so I can pick different heights. I love the bar where I can place my feet. I am disabled and need the support this gives me. It is good that it has a flat base as wheels could cause a fall. Does exactly what I need.

Doesn't hold up
I purchased this for work so it takes a beating. I haven't had it very long and the cushion, the upholstery, and the pneumatic are breaking down. It is also very lightweight and will tip over easily. The base is not metal, just chromed plastic. It has gotten super squeaky too.
