Hands-free Dog Leash with Bungee - Black - Boots & Barkley™

The stretchy part lost all it's stretch within a month.

The bungee part stretches out and stays stretched out. So then it’s no longer a short leash.

Don’t recommended this leash, elastic part broke after one use. My dog is only 30 lbs and after walking her once this leash no longer has any stretch it’s bunched up in one corner.

Had it less than 24 hours and already the clasp broke. I really wanted this to work for my dog and I. :(

Not a fan of the heavy clip that remains if using the leash without the waist band attachment. The leash itself is shorter than I had expected-my fault as I didn’t pay attention to measurement. Overall, functions well.

This works great for me and my golden doodle. He is 45lbs and walks well on a leash so this isn’t much different for him. The loop closest to the collar clip is useful when I need to hold him close to me to keep him from greeting people while on our walks. Iit keeps my hands free to push my daughter in her stroller it to pull a wagon.

These are the best! I have two dogs I am able to put one leash on my waste and walk the other. Also the bungie in the middle allows for the dogs to pull comfortably without jolting or choking them.

I love hands-free dog leashes because I’m able to train my dog much more seamless with them. It allows me to hold treats with one hand to reward immediately after a command and I have my other hand loosely holding the leash since it’s also secured to my waist. Also great for being out and about so I can carry bags or a drink. The spring/stretchy part did wear out fast but I do have a 65 pound pit bull that’s still learning to not pull as much. The leash still works great though.

Bought two of these and in both leashes the elastic bungee stretched out within two weeks of light usage. Might be better for smaller dogs. I have e a 50 pound husky mix.

I love the quality of Boots and Barkley products and since I recently began looking into hands-free leashes for running purposes, I did not hesitate buying this one. This product was no exception in regards to quality. This leash I’m sure will end up working out for a lot of people, but I will share why it didn’t work out for me. I did use it only for a walk, not a run. I’m very determined to teach or rather help improve my dog’s loose-leash walking skills. That includes walking at my pace and checking with me throughout the walk, because ultimately, I lead the way, as should all owners and not the dog. I felt like the leash naturally gave her all this leeway to get ahead of me, and even though I used the shorter handle to keep her closer, it’s almost like the bungee feature gave her permission to continue on as opposed to hitting the end of the leash a little more abruptly. I understand this leash can alleviate discomfort for those with dogs that pull, but in my case, I don’t allow my dog to do that or I quickly correct that behavior. This leash made it a bit more challenging to correct which is why I’ll end up going to a regular Boots and Barkley leash for our normal walks.

Love that I can go hands free on a walk with my dog but the belt is strange and difficult to put on. You either have to step into it and pull it up over your hips or down over your head and shoulders. NOT plus size friendly. There is a buckle/clasp on the belt but when you unbuckle it, the belt is still one continuous piece. Good value for the price though.

Great length. Love that it’s adjustable. Perfect for my chihuahua.
