Misaligned pre-drilled holes

The pre-drilled holes did not live up for the desktop, so it is unsecured to the framework. Picture shows the desktop lined up with the "L" extension. You can see the pre-drilled holes are misaligned an inch or more.

Ridiculous

Towards the end of building this thing, the piece that supports the inner part of the L shape doesn’t fit properly. in order for it to connect to piece 15, it comes out to a triangular angle and just doesn’t fit the long slab. i’ve never seen any piece of furniture have a mistake this bad.

I’m impressed.

I bought this desk thinking I’d need to return it because of quality, but I was surprised to see that the material is actually good—not cardboard. I put it together by myself (I’m a 5’3” 100lb girl) in less than 2 hours. Instructions are fine. The only issue I ran into was a misplaced piece for the drawer, but I emailed them and they sent me the piece within 2 weeks. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Solid desk! A lot of assembly

I am in love with this desk. It looks really nice, fits in my corner really well, more than enough space for my computer + papers, and the metal frame makes it stand absolutely solid. The only drawback of this desk is that it is a fair bit of assembly. Everything arrives as individually boards with holes drilled in them, nothing but two of the metal frames are pre-assembled. However, the instructions are very straightforward (just like a Lego set), and each step is simple, they are just time consuming. It took me around 2-3 hours to put together, and honestly was kind of fun. The only tool you need to bring is a Phillips screwdriver. Otherwise, an Allen wrench is provided. Overall, I highly recommend this desk! This is a high quality desk that is only in this price range due to its assembly. If you do not mind an evening of working with your hands, then this desk is a steal!
