Just the Dishes We Were Looking For
While these dishes are heavy, they became our favorites anyway. The matte color and perfect sizes meant they were always in the dishwasher. So we bought another set.

Love my white stoneware
Recently I moved and downsized a collection for every season of china. So I searched for something that would work for every season since I am getting older, when I came accross the Gibson Stoneware and decided on the white so I could dress it up or down with linens, centerpieces, etc and it works beautifully! I love this stoneware! It's so strong and easy to clean. Do yourself a favor and invest in Gibson Stoneware. I also bought a platter and serving bowl in the red color for my Christmas table!

Gray scratches from the utensils
Upon arrival the plates were everything I was hoping for attractive, versatile and something I could use for large holiday gathering that have the ease of being dishwasher safe. Unfortunately the dishes get gray scratch marks on them from the use of untensils, aka zebra marks. I've attempted to remove the marks with Bon Ami and A LOT of elbow grease, however this merely faded the marks. I'm very disappointed as they are very attractive, but as they look now, I wouldn't use them for company. |The idea of having to scrub the zebra marks after each use defeats the purpose of getting dishes you can throw in the dishwasher to avoid handwashing china dishes on special occasions.

Sturdy and good for price
Very nice cream color, sturdy dishware, don’t seem like they would be likely to chip. The glaze is uneven (see close up photo of large plates stacked), which doesn’t bother me but might bother some. They do scratch easily with utensils (see pics of bowl and plate) but it’s not very dark or noticeable to me. Overall, very good for the price, but would give it 5 stars if they didn’t scratch.

Love the color and the quality just upset that some of the plates had the paint messed up.
