[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in Florida and have about 4500 gal ornamental pond with koi...without warning pond water can go from clear to cloudy in a single weekend. The first time it happened we tried everything - all the chemicals, a slow but complete refill (messy) then eventually a UV clarifier inside the filters which did the trick but burned out. We recently relocated the pond and started over so was thrilled to give this a try. UV works great and this out of water version is superior to the filter type since it doesn't require the entire filter to be replaced but this one single portion. It's easier to reach and stronger. I've used alpine products (filter) in the past and they are better than most so overall I'm pleased.
I can see clearly now the algae's gone...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The UV light is operating great. It is a replacement for a similar light that has grown old and worn. The instillation was a piece of cake. It fit easily into the hoses that were previously installed. The algae that was present seems to have been cleared out. Our fish seem to appreciate the clearer water, and our little pond looks awesome!

It is well well made. It was super easy to install by following the detailed instructions. It is just the right size so he’s not super noticeable. It us also fairly quiet. I’m very pleased with everything about it.

This has helped keep the water clear and so far have not had any issues. Small enough to hide behind the fountain so it doesn’t take away from the design and quiet enough to where you can’t hear it with the water going
